What the fight did show that those who seem to think Pacquiao could just go in there and throw 100 punches per round v PBF dont have a clue.

Come on man you quoted from fat ass Dan Rafael. He hates Floyd with a passion. IMO no one should take his word seriously. The only time I would listen to him is if I needed to find a place to eat. He is the GOAT at giving that type of info.

Pac makes everyone look shot from 140-147. Even the young one's.

Mosley actually did better against Floyd. Floyd failed to make Shane respect his power.

That left hand of Pacquiao's is like a missile, but I'm not so sure that the particular shot that floored Mosley is what put Mosley in survival mode.
The shot was a good shot, but it did'nt land flush, Mosley was actually moving with and away from the shot, and he was partly off balance when the shot landed.

The uniqueness of Pacquiao is that he is both fast and heavy handed, and its the combination of both that imo had Mosley leary of letting his own hands go.......

Two things that were very noticeable with how Mosley was going about attempting to make a fight out of it.

    1. ....and this was very expected as we saw it vs both Mayweather and Mora, Mosley was having an awful time even when the openings were there to pull the trigger.....

    2. Mosley was doing the right thing by moving to his left, the only thing about it was that he was uncomfortable fighting in that mode.
Inbetween rounds Richardson was heard to tell Mosley, "I'm seeing it, you're seeing it, now trust me on this, let your right cross go.....
Mosley however just seemed very uncomfortable moving to his left and attempting to punch while he moved that way.

When you look at how Marquez dominated Pacquiao, thats mostly what Marquez did and do so beautifully, he moved to his left and shot out his straight right hand right over Pacquiao's left hand, constantly and effectively.
Thats the key to beating Pacquiao, but these welter foes of Pacquiao have been incapable of delivering a good straight right hand.

One thing to take note in this Pacquiao-Mosley fight is that although Mosley was ineffective and looked uncomfortable moving to his left, Mosley moved to his left anyways, and if you took note (and I know Mosley was in survival mode) Pacquiao was having a hard time landing clean shots on Mosley.

When you compare Mosley vs both Mayweather and Pacquiao, Mayweather was consistently able to land clean shots at Mosley, where that was not the case with Pacquiao against Mosley.

There were very few really clean shots landed by either fighter tonight.

I was thinking the same thing, shane used distants well and sliped a few punches, and that's not his style. One thing for sure if Manny beats Floyd it won't be by knockout.

Not insecure at all. Mosley made Pacquiao look human. Even moreso, he highlighted his flaws.

I can't agree with that. If he didn't respect his power he wouldn't have been holding everytime Floyd landed his right. Also Nazim was thinking about stopping the fight. If Mayweather failed to make Mosley respect his power I don't believe Nazim would have said that.

    Exellent point......
.....if Mosley who is'nt nearly as defensive was able to minimize Pacquiao's shot output, imagine what will be when he's in there vs Mayweather.

:thinkSo I guess you can say Mosley did a good job at controlling his work rate. Maybe this will put an end to that myth that Manny will just go and throw 10 punch combinations against FLoyd
