Floyd out muscled Mosley. Mosley doesn't ever respect Floyd's power hence the high punch output.

Run and Pacman's workrate goes down.

I've tried to do two responses. Can't do them right now, I guess, because of the high volume of posters here. Will try to respond more soon.

Mayweather couldn't even knock down JMM at 145 or whatever, let alone Mosley.

Only Forrest knocked down Mosley before tonight.

Pacquiao took a proud warrior tonight and turned him into a fearful Clottey impersonation. This is a guy that went to war with Floyd, and Mayorga, and others. Tonight? After Round 2 and Round 3, done. Didn't want any part of Pacquiao's power.

Floyd almost got KO'd himself by Mosley. Confidence taken? I don't think so. Mosley wanted to land that same right on Pac he did on Floyd. Until Round 3.

Mosley is a workout monster. Or at least he used to be. Was one of the strongest pound-for-pound fighters in the sport. Mayweather isn't. Now, Shane may have been tired in the Mayweather fight when Floyd pushed him around. Is Floyd as strong as him? No; not close.

I'm not saying Floyd can't beat Pac, though I don't think he would. What I'm saying -- the point of the post -- is that people's perception of the fight tonight is off. Shane fought a certain way, and Manny didn't get to do what he normally does. But Manny utterly dominated, and did so more convincingly than Mayweather did against Mosley. That's easy to miss because Pac didn't get the KO and didn't do his typical high-volume routine.

If it makes you feel better.:-:)-:)-( In case you want to konw when and where mosleys confidence was sucked out of him here you go enjoy [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAC6o9420fc[/ame]

Mayweathers perfomance against mosley will be remembered. Pacquiaos performance against mosley was hardly memorable.

I tried to respond to your posts twice, and they both got dinged, for whatever reason. They were long, I'm not writing them again right now.

Anyways, to try to help the readers of the forum understand the limits of your "knowledge" here, the following item from a post-fight article:

    Source: HERE

I understand that you seem to be concerned with "spinning" things in Floyd's favor. That's my opinion. But stay grounded in the facts. Your credibility will be better if you do.

The reason why posts like mine are written, the original post of the thread, is to disabuse "hype" renditions of events, just as you describe.

Mayweather's performance vs Mosley may be remembered as more dominant than was Pacquiao's. But it wasn't, and that's why I wrote the first post. To clarify that.

Who has better defense now? lol

I kid. Mayweather is the better defensive fighter. But based on your stat, it terms of punch output in offense-defense, May and Pac did almost the same effective punches. The only difference us, Pac KD Mosley and made him use the bicycle.
