Yeah it could have been the car accident he was in earlier, sometimes your body behaves in strange ways after an accident that you don't realize. Bernstein was mentioning that Pac wasn't using angles, he was coming straight forward, which makes sense if your legs are cramped up, probably why he was hopping around doing that Bruce Lee **** in the later rounds to loosen up his legs.

Irregardlessly I think we can all agree that Mosley is shot and should retire, maybe a Cotto rematch to finish out his career.

It was a fender bender, not an accident. It was like bumping a parked car when trying to get out of a tight spot. Geez, make more excuses *******s.

Exactly, I am even more convinced now that Mayweather whoops Pacman's backside, Shane & turned him right and we saw the return of Pacman's lunge, his accuracy went southside. Also the tempo that Al Bernstein referred to as being the crucial weapon that Pacman will use to beat Floyd couldnt be sustained against moving target [Roach said it early on, keep the pace] and Manny couldnt.

@danrafaelespn #MannyPacquiao actually beat Mosley even easier than @FloydMayweather did. about an hour ago

  8. I love Pacquiao but this is true. I was so frustrated and yelling at the TV for Manny to cut him off but all he did was follow him around!!

    By Ryan Maquiñana,

LAS VEGAS, NV – As Manny Pacquiao knelt triumphantly in the corner of the MGM Grand Garden Arena ring Saturday night, an unfamiliar noise rang out.

Ultimately, the Filipino franchise fulfilled what most had prophesized, an asymmetrical and deliberate pounding of future Hall of Famer Shane Mosley. However, Pacquiao was unable to defend his WBO welterweight title in style, as a reluctant Mosley refused to take the risks necessary for knocking off the pound-for-pound king from his throne.

“I was telling my corner I was having problems moving,” said Pacquiao, who reportedly had been suffering from cramps since the fourth round.

Perhaps most telling of all, however, was the sellout crowd of 16,412 and a press row so vast that many media members weren’t even allowed into the venue itself for the festivities. In addition, with over a million pay-per-view buys in tow, Pacquiao was able to prove that he needed neither HBO nor an adversary in his prime to accomplish his objective of bringing a blockbuster bout to the bottom line.

Wow. I am surprised people did not pick up on this. it was one of the strangest interviews I have ever seen with Manny. he was looking away didn't sound confident. it was like a different person. it was with Jim Grey about hour before fight. gonna post it.

Shane never fought. He mostly backed up. He was supposed to come forward and slug it out not run like a *****.

I thought so as well. I think it was a combination of Mosley not willing to engage, Pacquiao having been in that crash, and Roach actually planning to box being wary of Shane's power while pitching a whole different story to the media.
