Styles makes fights. I think Pac was very weary of Shane's power and was very cautious as well early until he got hit and figured he could handle Shane's punches. Pac will attack feather fisted Floyd and won't hold back. For sure Pac won't outbox Floyd, he'll do what he does best... beat up his opponents.

What makes you think he is feather fisted when nobody has been able to walk him down. Floyd has punching power and great accuracy and the accuracy and timing is what really makes guys stop coming forward. :-(

pacman was being cautious thats why he did not attack much coz he respect shanes power. he wanted shane to attack so he can counter with combos but sadly shane just wanna tie him up. roudns 11 and 12, see how pac attacks when he gets angry, shane was pounded with punches coming from different angles.

if floyd and pac fight, i can see pac knocking floyd out coz pacman knows floyd doesnt hit hard and he really dislike the guy.

    brutal decision?!! :rofl

there is nothing brutal about pitty-pat, pot-shotting punches w/o no weight behind them while back-peddling.

it is pac who does the brutal decisions around here...

I think Pac may "floor" Mayweather multiple times. He may even get a knockdown! :yep

If the Mosley fights are any indication of the outcome of a Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight, my money is on Mayweather. It's a good thing though I don't view the Mosley fights as a totally reliable indication. Reasons: (1) Mosley forced himself out of character for his only ambition against Pacquiao was to make the distance. Against Mayweather, Mosley took his puncher's chance because Mayweather is not nearly as powerful as Pacquiao and will fight defensively no matter who he's fighting against. (2) Mosley fighting defensively and Mayweather fighting defensively are two different things. Mosley's idea of fighting defensively is to keep his opponent at a distance, an approach that produces very little opportunities for landing power punches. Mayweather on the other hand stays compact in the pocket and dares his opponents to hit him. Because of that he's able to counter. Superior reaction time and accurate counter punching at a short distance are the keys to Mayweather's defense but his approach his riskier than Mosley's last night.

Two very different matchups, two different versions of Mosley, same result. There's not much we learn.

I like how you didn't comment on the possibility that Pacquiao will be more aggressive against Floyd, that he maybe gave Shane a little too much respect and was worried about Shane's power(right over your head?). I think if they fought Manny would definitely throw more caution to the wind and whilst I still give Floyd the edge I am not nearly as blinkered as yourself, why don't you stop pretending to be a knowledgable fan with a degree of neutrality when forming your opinion on this fantasy match up (you try to justify this by saying "but Martinez would beat Floyd") and just declare your love for Floyd?

    Give it a rest :deal
