Scores were 119-108, 120-108, 120-107. How did pac get 120 on 2 scorecards?! What about the Knockdown?! I know it was a completely BS Knockdown and one of the worst decisions i've seen in boxing in a while. But since the ref called it a KD, surely the judges have to honor that? Just like for BS point deductions they have to deduct a point! I thought Pac clearly won the round. But coz of the KD, surely pac cant get more than 9 points for that round. SO how did he end up with 120 points? Am i missing something
No you're not, it's just very few people involved in boxing know how to score a fight, and that includes the judges unfortunately.

Judges have to score the kd if the ref called it one. These judges could get in trouble but i think given how blatent bs the so called kd was i could see kenny bailes getn in more ****
Let's say I'm a judge and I thought Pac won the round, despite the knockdown, but irrespective of the point deduction for the KD. That's 10-9 for Pacquiao. But then I have to consider that Mosley knocked Pacquiao down, so I have to deduct a point from Pacquiao. So i deduct a point from Pacquiao and the 10-9 becomes 9-9. But on the 10 point must system, there are no 9-9 rounds. The score of the round becomes 10-10.
