Really cant decide who did better in this one, it just makes me want to see the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight even more.

One thing is for sure Manny has an exciting style but fighting these lesser opponents are making very boring fights, its not like he is greatly technical like Mayweather.

Pacquiao faced Cotto who life and death requested a fight with Floyd....

pacquiao faced Margarito who almost cried just to have Floyd fight him.

Take this as it is.

mayweather never been in with a lethal puncher. every fight like clockwork manny has landed one punch and the whole fight changed. proven entity vs miles better opposition at the proper weight. When Floyd tastes pac power it will be a shock. everything will change and there is no plan b for floyd.
the two best welters he faced both landed big shots. there is no way pac won't. too classy.
Floyd the best with parameters. pac is outside those.

no way did he out perform floyd, floyd put on a boxing clinic, while pac although winning the rounds was made to look very ordinary, missing wildly, lunging in, even headbutting.

I look at it like this floyd beat the **** out of mosley and softened him up for pac, there is no denying that this was a leftover, and pac couldn't finish the job.

What happened to being the first man to stop mosley?

quite suprised more people dont think Pac gave a better perfomance not to say I agree as I have said I have mixed feelings but this board seems so pro Pacquiao.

I do think people need to take into account Mosely didnt look good after a fight with Money, he was just Meh when he fought Mora and yesterday was something we have never seen of Mosely I expected him to fight fire with fire.

If he hasn't got any offense then he doesnt have anything left, sad but true!

    Good win for Pacman nonetheless.....

I think both Pacquiao and Mayweather beat Mosley 11-1 and I gave Mosley the 2nd round in both fights, however using only the fact that Pacquiao knocked Mosley down as him performing better is quite laughable even for ESB standards.

Mayweather completely dominated the fight the way he wanted to and was in complete control of everything including tempo, he was landing on Shane whenever he wanted to and had Mosley in his pocket.

Pacquiao on the other hand won the fight on activity yet struggled with Mosley's movement, he couldn't cut the ring off and was made to miss more against a boxer with very basic technical ability.

Coming away from both you felt you had watched a Mayweather master class, the fight last night I came away disappointed with such a poor fight even if it was lopsided on the scorecards.

Mosley deserved at least the first two rounds and was competitive for at least 8 or 9 rounds. His defense nearly disarmed Pac and points to the trouble Pac will have if he faces a credible opponent such and Bradley, Marquez, or Mayweather, or Khan. Don't be surprised if the Marquez fight is taken off of the table after this performance.

It's pretty clear that Floyd was more impressive against Shane.

Funny...cause both JMM and Hoya are quoted as saying Mayweather was the more difficult opponent. Hatton favors Mayweather over Pacquiao as well.

To the OP, it's difficult to judge because May and Pac fought the same opponents at different points in their opponents careers and 2 of 3 at different weights. There's little argument that Floyd looked better against Mosley though.
