did anyone here his pre fight analysis last night. He said that Mosley hasnt got a chance that you cant put a case together for him winning

This is a man who has only lost TWICE (all to elite level fighters) in the last 7 years, fighting at the highest level. Who nearly knocked the best/2nd best P4P best fighter in the world out last year. who was a bigger man than his opponent

Theres no way in the world you can justify such comments

He's entitled to his opinion. I didn't give Mosley a chance either. He is an ageing elite fighter who hasn't impressed in his last two fights, against a prime elite fighter who has been VERY impressive much more recently.

I couldn't see a way of him winning that fight, and in fairness to Jim Watt, Mosley obviously couldn't see a way either. He was happy to survive and collect his paycheck. He knew from the 3rd round onwards he must have been behind, yet never tried to change the pattern of the fight. He took zero risks, and just covered up/ran.

I preferred the honesty of him saying he didn't really have a chance than the usual attempts to build up poor opposition, ala Haye/Harrison, or Khan/McCloskey.

And Watt was proved wrong because Mosley looked great last night right?

    bull****.

his commentary was shite but if he did say what you claimed then hes quite right.

suger shame, who couldnt even beat mora, who was totally dominated against floyd apart from 1/2 minutes, who squeezed past mayorga against the greatest fighter of his generation. no right thinking person could make a case for shane winning pre fight without a huge amount of bias or blind hope in their opinion

I fancied Pacman big time is well but you can never say someone of shane calibre hasnt got a chance. Jesus Jim Watts commentated on Tyson V Holyfield. That fight should of learned him how unpredictable this business is. that you cannot right fighters of mosley and holyffields calibre off

Watt is the only sky pundit who gives his own independent opinion every time.

    I agree.

Watt - is a former World Champion Boxer.

I have been listening to Watt and the late Reg Guttridge on ITV ever since I could remeber.

I grew up listening to Jim Watt commentating.

He might not be right all the time - but he commentates with the passion - as a former fighting man - he knows the game.

He is a geniune commentator and I respect Watt as one of the most authentic boxing pundits about.
