As an RJJ fan ill admitt Tarver is an outstanding analyst I think RJJ is a tick better at anticapating the action and predicting whats about to happen. I really enjoy hearing Tarver on the announce team though. I enjoy the Johnson, Bernstein and Tarver team although Steve Albert in place of Gus Johnson is also very good.
Tarver was being a hypocrite last night though. He basically covered up and didnt throw punches against Chad Dawson when he knew he was outclassed
Tarver is a confident, well spoken guy but... He loves to hear himself speak and its too obvious, he tries to dominate a little too much. And physically speaks kinda strangely, his mouth moves like a stroke victim...like a Mr. Potato Head with the lips put on sideways.
I don't like Tarver. I don't like to see him fight. I don't like his face. I don't like his voice. I hated him in Rocky. And I don't want to listen to his commentary...... (Jones fan..... although I'm not crazy about Jones' commentary either)
agreed, as a fighter i cant stand him but as a commentator he is one of the best! much better than roy "i boxed thats how i know/he's winning because god gave him the skills" jones, he actually explains what he says instead of pulling rank and talking like a farm boy.
