We all know that Ortiz will come to fight Mayweather and bring the action. If Floyd dominates Ortiz in an entertaining fight, do you think they will put him back at the top of the p4p list? I personally think he needs to beat Ortiz and then Manny to get it back, but we all know how the boxing media will love him once again if he fights and dominates Ortiz.

If floyd dominates ortiz he's right back in it. Top 5 p4p and top 2 welterweight.

Back on the p4p list. Lets just be real, nobody has the pure talent of Mayweather period. even if you a hater, you cant knock the pure defense, speed, accuracy of Mayweather. the only reason hes off the list now is because hes isnt active, not because he isnt good

Ortiz is a very good fighter. Mayweather deserves credit for taking this fight.

I am currently disappointed about Pac's recent choice of opponents. If Floyd wins, he should be at least pound for pound no 2

Mayweather deserves credit for taking this fight? Did i miss something? Did anybody confirm this fight outside of that paragone of reliability, boxrec.com?

Granted, if this fight does indeed come off, it's a hell of a comeback fight for a 34-year old fighter who's fought only twice in more than 3,5 years.

    Top 5 p4p :huh
If he fights Spadafora, he's back at number 2. I do think he has to beat Manny or Sergio to reach number 1 though

Ortiz is too new and his record is bad for a new boxer.

Ortiz is tailor made for Floyd.......he swings too wide and can be easily caught off balance. The only difference between Ortiz fighting Floyd or Pac, is Pac will KO him 3 rounds earlier.
