Mosley's durability obviously has deteriorated a little. The guys nearly 40 years old.

 

Forest rocked his **** bad ... when forest hit him he didn't sit there like he was posing in a photo shoot ... honestly I didn't think he was that hurt till he said so ...

I think if you watch both fights then it was clearly Vernon what you have to take into consideration is Shane is older now hitting him probably has more of an effect than it did when he was younger.

I do think he was really worried about being K.O'd last night as he said the punch didnt look as hard as it felt so it seems Manny could have k.o'd him given the right circumstance

 

Forrest for sure. And that was an abolsute prime Mosley, not an ancient one.

 

In all honesty it was Forrest, but Forrest just had Shane's number.

The thing about Mosley is how difficult it is to knock him down, he has one of the more tremendous chins for a guy who takes a good amount of punishment.

I'm not trying to say Pacquiao doesn't have power, he certainly does and his ability to knock Mosley down is testament to the sort of danger he poses to his opponents.

Remember, Vernon Forrest was a way different monster, he had a ropey, powerful right cross which, when he had people on the end of that usually put them to sleep. Forrest made his early career of harnessing the power unique to tall, lanky fighters utilizing the power and kinetic energy at the end of the cross. He had serious one punch power potential prior to pretty much ruining his shoulder.

What is testament to Shane Mosley's ability to take a punch was his ability to take this sort of punishment from Forrest on a regular basis throughout his fights against him, Shane was at the end of that right cross for the better part of that fight, and was able to withstand it.. Shane, is a seriously tough nut to crack, even at this stage of his career. People talking like Shane exposed Pacquiao are seriously overlooking the mere fact that he was able to knock him down, and have him in trouble.

mayweather almost got knocked out by an over the hill Mosley, Pac didnt have a scratch on him, *****s believe this your fighter is scared of Pacs power which is why he is asking for OSDT, anything he can think of to not take that fight. the ricky hatton fight made him step up and take notice and def the cotto fight had him running scared.

Pac did not have his rhythm tonight like he normally does. Was it because of his leg cramps or that fact that Shane was running all night, I don't know maybe a bit of both as Pac was reaching too much as evidenced
by a few wild shots.

Forrest did have him hurt but that was years ago, when you get older your body takes more punishment.

I'm going to late it out like this. Can i definitely say who is going to win a May vs Pac fight. No I can't and neither can any of you. We can make predictions all day long but until they step into the ring we don't know. I think Mayweather is scared of Pacs power, getting knocked down multiple times in a fight can make you change your plan but we never know mayweather just might have Pacs number all night with his timing and counterpunching ability. But I do know one thing, he will taste some leather and I am guessing thats why he won't take the fight. Money is scared...plain and simple...I mean who refuses 40 mil dollar paydays.

 

Because just like Clottey that nig got an extra check coming from Arum all this damn touching gloves after each and every round made me sick to my damn stomach this fight was much worst than Clottey and atleast he did bust Pac face up a little. Manny did simply because Mosley is 40 years old, punch resistance is obviously shot and the beating Floyd gave him got him speaking worse than Freddy Roach.

Forrest definitely hit him with harder shots, that wasn't even a hard punch threw by Manny, it surprised me it had him on ***** street like that.

 

Mosley took a serious beating the first fight against Forest and I mean a beating and later tried to blame it on a head butt.He almost got stop that fight.

but forrest had him chicken dancing all over the ring in round 2... he only went down 2 times in his career, twice in this round.
