It's Pacquaio's Fault

    It was his inability to do his job. It's not Shanes job to stand there and let Pac look good. Shane decided to move, always circle left and pac had no answer. Please remember that the same thing happened in the second half of the Cotto fight.

    lets look at a few fights where one fighter wanted to move and the other wanted to attack.

    1) Chavez completed the job against a moving meldrick taylor.

    2) SRL completed the job against a moving mayweather sr.

    3) Segura completed the job twice against a moving calderon

    4) Arce completed the job against moving vasquez

    Pac simply was not capable of overwhelming a moving opponent.

    Pac wanted to get to shane and couldn't. This is in spite of Mosley being in range(yeah believe it). Watch the fight again and see how many punches shane actually slipped(especially his new and improved right hand).

    Thats right on more than a few occasions, mosley stood in front of Pacquiao(albeit at an angle) and bobbed and weave and slipped all of pacs punches. He just never threw any punches of his own. Mosley had the right game plan, he threw away the offensive part of his plan when he tasted pac's power

    We are all blaming the wrong person here. It's not Mosley's fault, It's Bruce Tramplers fault. He should have matched Manny with a come forward, can't move my head, can't slip punches, no lateral movement, block punches with my face fighter again.

    All of those 4 were moving but were at least willing to engage at times. Mosley wasn't willing to engage after the KD, he didn't just move he ran.


    Edit: That being said, Manny could have helped it a bit by pushing the pace a bit more as he did after the judo throw.

    That is true. point taken. The fact remains though that the biggest problem last night was Manny's inability to cut off the ring, not Shane's unwillingness to engage.

    A completely one sided fight hardly supports your theory. What more could he have done other than knock Shane out? lol

    66 landed punches in 12 round fight is atrocious, that is blatant running, that is not fighting, especially with Pac having no lateral movement because of leg cramps, just pathetic. Just watch the post fight presser, mosley feels ashamed of his performance. Like I said before pride took a back seat to self preservation last night, because of this he should retire as his fans don't deserve another performance like that.

    It was a one sided fight:rofl Not an exciting fight but one sided like many pac's fight lately. Pac is just too good. Elite compare to the rest.

    It all depends on how much credence you put in the leg cramps argument as well though. If he did get cramps it would explain the lack of cutting off the ring and he was sort of jogging on the spot a bit (not the best description but you know what I mean) like he was trying to loosen up.

    That being said, it could be and excuse, it's not like anyone will ever know except Manny.

    Yes it was on sided. but so was Mayweather vs Baldomir.

    If he was able to cut off the ring, he could made to match more exciting.

    Didn't you hear all the boos. The crowd wanted shane to fight a fight that would give them the blood and gore they wanted.

    That is not shane's job.

    It was Manny's job to cut off the ring and punish Shane(Whether or not there was a knockout).

    If Manny had done that so many people would not be complaining today.

    It's pac's fault for setting his own standards really high.

    If mayweather did the same thing to an opponent, he'll be considered GOAT. lol

    Trying to blame Pac for this fight is a hack move, Mosley was a coward in there.

    Crazy how much Pacquiao has spoiled the fans.

    So he didn't get the KO - he still pressed the action, took (arguably unnecessary) chances, and won a very lopsided UD.

    What should worry Pacquiao's fans is Shanes ability to make Pacquiao miss. Shane is far from a defensive fighter. When Floyd makes someone miss, he makes them pay. That does not bode well for Manny. Obviously some of that has to do with Manny's limited mobility (I don't think he has any reason to lie about his legs tightening up on him).

    How is it Pac's fault. He won every round bar maybe the first. The guy who ran away from him the entire fight is the problem. It would be one thing if Mosley was winning the fight. Pac did what he had to do.
