Mosley may have fought stronger guys, but explosive power is not the same as strength.

First off the OP misqouted Mosley. He said that that's the hardest he's been hit in a long time. No dont Pac has some pop, but nobody hit him harder than Forrest.

All things being equal weightwise, if Mosley gets hit at age 39 by those shots Forrest hit him with he would be KOed pronto.

Didn't Shane actaully say something like "I haven't been hit that hard in a long time"?

By the way, someone in the crowd/ringside screamed when Shane was hit, not Shane.

This is just me thinking out loud ...

But Mosley didn't say specifically that Pac hits the hardest, but said his power is different from anything else he has experienced from other fighters.

Pac has been a long time admirer of martial arts i.e. Bruce Lee. I think he has used some of the punches from these other arts and incorporated into his punches whereby the force of the punch doesn't just end at contact but follows through internally ala Bruce's one inch punch

possible. i recall, on the 360 show how the sparring partner was surprised by how hard that short straight punch to the gut could be delivered. pac said he had practiced that punch before. its not a textbook boxing punch.

I doubt it. I don't think anyone in here believes that a 39 year old Mosely would have been able to take the right hand uppercut combination that Forrest put him down with back when he was in his prime.

Funny how a prime Oscar couldn't knockdown Shane even once, in 2 fights, despite landing more punches than Manny in both fights. :think
