Which Fight is the one to watch? (if any of them happen) Miguel Angel Cotto vs. Antonio Margarito II or Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Victor Ortiz? and why? :huh
If the Ortiz fight happens, it won't be competitive. Margarito vs Cotto will still be competitive, despite how shot the both of them are.
Margarito should be banned for life. His prior accomplishments are nullified. He hasn't been a ranked opponent since he ran into Mosley anyway, let alone at 154. Any fight Margarito is in from this point on is a beyond **** fight (not entertainment-wise, but in terms of relevance, Margarito is the most irrelevant widely known boxer of the current and previous decade). Mayweather vs. Ortiz is obviously a very good fight. Anyone that doesn't think so either (a) hasn't watched Ortiz vs. Berto, (b) is one of those ***gots who would hold an epic slug fest loss (Maidana) against someone for eternity, or (c), most of you ESB-ers, displays a clear bias against a professional boxer for things they do outside the ring. Regardless of you feel about any man personally, we judge the sport. Mayweather is no worse than the second best on the planet.
Ortiz is not ready for Floyd yet, bad fight, he will get schooled by a much better boxer, I can't see it going any other way, bad idea in my opinion. Floyd is too smart to get beat by a kid with little experience. And no, I'm not a Floyd fan, I'd love to see ORtiz whip him, but this fight isn't happening anyways, but on the rare chance it does, Floyd out boxes him all night easy.
I heard Margo vs Cotto is off..... that would obviously be more competitive. As for mayweather running though....when has he ever done that? a couple rounds vs DLH I guess were arguable running rounds but other than that......I remember people saying he would run vs Mosley too and instead he outmanned him, fought right in front him backing him up and walked him down.
both fights are off. Margos eye hasnt healed yet and the floyd fight is BS just like everything related to him.
