Mundine wont go near Geale again even with a belt on the line....he knows he was dead lucky to get away with the first win and his last few outings have hardly been the type of fights a guy needs to get him ready for a world title fight
If the result is as clean-cut as you think, what would Choc be 'getting'? Geale did the hard work winning a legit title in Germany. Why should he give Mundine a look in? Particularly after Mundine binned the IBO title and ran scared from a Geale rematch a couple of years ago.
All very true. But sometimes I cut off my nose to spite my face in these situations. I just don't know whether I could bring myself to even give Mandy the opportunity to take the belt. He was robbed of the belt last time IMO, it could be just as risky the second time. I would take the risk and chase the top guys, but that's me.
**** Mundine , Geale shouldn't even give the bloke a sniff . Geale has done the hard yards and been rewarded , he doesn't need to take 5 steps back in his career just to appease Mundine or the Australian boxing public . Mundine had his opportunity to head overseas and make a name for himself and possibly win a title belt , but he chose to stay in Australia and fight stiffs and no names , so reap what you sew choc and continue to milk the Australian PPV community and leave Daniel Geale to carve out a future fighting for titles and prestige and holding his head up high ...
Yep the Aussie public pay the bills at the moment for Geale and they want Mundine kod again and will happily pay for it , just look at Garth Wood 2 fights against Mundine and presto $$$$$$$ in the bank.
