I thought grange were taking time off promoting?...anyway,now that grange have linked with shaw, id say it would be a co- promotion between them and boxa. Outside of a mundine fight, i dont think you will see geale fight here...id guess his future will be fighting under shaw in the u.s....im tipping he's signed with shaw now.

If geale wants an easy defence and cash a big cheque he fights mundine. Any weight, geale destroys him. Who knows if choc and khoder want it, i guess khoder knows mundine is done so it serves as a perfect cash out fight. God only knows whether mundine v green is still on their agenda. Gary shaw and grange may have bigger fish to fry, for less short term money. Personally, mundine is a non entity in the big picture but geale did the hard yards by going to germany so an easy first defence against choc is fine. If he wants to earn a big payday and beat mundine's arse like a drum....no arguments here :good

 

I find it hard to believe Mundine would be the biggest payday opportunity for Geale right now, even though a large slice of the public are ******ed muppets who seem to enjoy throwing excessive money at bad fights.
Even if it is a big payday, better fights overseas will build an even better legacy and therefore more dosh in the long term, no?
I even scored Geale vs Mundine fight for Choc by a point, and I still don't think he deserves any slice of Geale at the moment.

It will be interesting to see what the Grange and Geale do from here. Is he that hard up for cash he needs to fight dean 'I don't think so, it stinks to high heaven that the boxa crew will make money off the fight.

I pretty much disagree with almost all of this post.

For a start Mundine has earned nearly 30mil, I don't think even the no1 of the MW division - Martinez wld even get close to that.

Geale doesn't quite have the pop to stop guys at the very top, therefore jumping ahead of ourselves and saying he'll rule or unify the division is a bit premature. Lets slow up a bit and think this through, Geale gets to make a voluntary defence first up, where is he going to get a low risk fight for the biggest reward??????? nobody in Australia outside of MANDY.....Fact.

After he lines his pocket with a win over Mandy then head stateside for unifications etc. If he heads over straight away and doesn't cash in first, i hate for him to come up short because he would've lost the opportunity to grab a quid.

 

The WBC gave him the Diamond belt or some other **** so they could have Zbik and Chavez Jnr fight for the regular title.

All of these titles are a joke. I'd love to see a Martinez/Geale fight although I don't think it'll happen.

MUNDINE is campaigning at 154 now hes got revenge on Wood.dont think he will fight Geale as CHB i think said when Mundine fought Geale .Mundine was on the way down the escalator
whereas Geale was on the way up.

I didn't say Geale will earn what Mandy has, I said he could earn more than what Mandy could give him if he made it to the top.

Why? I've been saying a lot of things about Geale for a few years now, and he hasn't let me down yet.
