Bloody hell!! There was a bit of a scare last night. Gabriel Montoya of Maxboxing tweeted that he heard the fight could be off and it wasn't the ticket issue or something else but CHEF found out that it's all going forward and all problems have being sorted.

Haye would easily pull double that, people really understimate haye and heavyweight boxing in britains popularity, just cuz u dont like the man, dont deny the obvious that he is hugely well known and popular, especially for this fight.

they could have a shag loada people over ingermany, just watching on big screens in town sqaures and such, nevermind in the actual stadium.

    Maybe your right.

But - I have to question what you say.

the general public - were totally ignorant to hayes win over Mormeck.

Up to the Maccarinelli fight - Haye was not really known to the mainstream public.

The Maccarinelli fight - was alot of hype and money spent on advertsing - and was made a big event by Sports Network - this helped Hayes profile greatly.

After that hype - he tried to create a big event for himself - and fought to a half empty stadium against Monte Barret.

Then Sky Box Office got behind him - and the Valuev and Ruiz and Harrison fights were all pay per view. In that time - he done alot of Media stuff too - like Magazine and TV appearances.

So his status has defenitely grown.

But will he really sell anymore fighting Wlad than Audely Harrison ?

    I question that.

As sad as it is - the British Public - average Joe - is going to be much more aware who Audely Harrison is than Wlad Klitschko - who too them is just - "some big Russian guy or something".

They showed both guys walking to the centre circle at the stadium, standing back to back like in that poster Longcount made ages ago :D

    The presser should start soon!

Appalling coverge from Sky. All that build up for about a 30 second recorded clip. Must be terrified to show it live incase Haye says he's gonna put Wlad on his arse!

I've heard about Gareth Bales ankle 4 times now. If Redknap didn't want to sign Charlie Adams next season he's be going mental about that tackle.
