JMM cuts weight to make 135. At 140, JMM will be at his natural weight while Pac will need to cut 3 or 4 pounds.

Therefore JMM would have the advantage at 140.

    :deal

honestly i think the real reason is that Pac is trying to get bigger and bigger for his future fights, not smaller. Going back to 140 would be counterproductive. He needs to add more weight, not take weight off.

Weight will not be an issue for Pac-JMM III. On fight night, they'll be practically weighing the same for what they were in their last fight. Even Nacho acknowledged the fact that even the welterweight limit of 147 won't make much difference.

Pac is the draw and the 147 and 154 pound champ, if Marquez wants the fight then he should have no problem excepting the catchweight to make this fight happen. Fighters are such sissy's these day complaining about 4 or 5 pounds like that means a huge difference in a fight.

Marquez fights weighing over 140 all the time. Always laugh when people put so much stock in weigh-in weights.

Dick riding in pristine form by none other than Philla. JMM is another on the decline fighter. Just please for once take the **** out of your mouth and wipe the jizz from your eyes.

JMM wont need to cut as much. No need to drain these fighters, they know what they're doing. Heck give them a limit of 160lbs, they'd still weigh in at 140-145 tops.

So are you saying that JMM shouldn't be on the ring with Pac be it at 140 or 147 because "he's on the decline"?

Paging divac. Someone doesn't want your boy's trilogy. He's insinutaing that JMM's not good enough for Pac anymore.:hey

Yeah and considering the thread the same poster made about how overrated Pacquiao (the one trick pony) is, he must really think JMM is trash...

Manny weighted 144 last week end so he won't have trouble at all getting down a little. Plus, he had much more trouble back then when he fought Marquez at 130 (and gave him hell).
I don't think the lightweight division would be much of an advantage for JMM right now. In fact, it could be Manny that would gain benefit fighting at 140.
Anyway, can't wait to see the third fight to settle the score (I have them at 1-0-1 in favor of Manny)

143lbs... JMM likes it and wants it. He doesn't to cut as much for 143lbs.

actually divac thinks canelo could be the only option for jmm right now since GBP had matched TR offer to jmm for a pac fight. :D

Not sure what GBP has in mind but it is very likely to happen.
