What will it take for Kessler to comeback and become an A level fighter? And will Kessler still have time to make it to HOF?

I allways liked Kessler and heard of his comeback.. Kessler is a true gentlemen! And a man like this didnt deserve the beating he got from a dirty Ward-****.. Kessler didnt deserve that.. Kessler didnt deserve the time with his former promoter, where he went inactive after a hell of a fight vs the real SMW champ Calzaghe.. I think Kessler has been trough enough now, and please i hope he will succeed in his comeback, and become an A level fighter, maybe go in some history books HOF.

Kessler is an A level fighter.. 3 times world champion, outboxed Calzaghe for 1/3 of the fight and beat Carl Froch.. Also have some notable wins over: Andrade, beyer and Mundine..

He is really not.. I like Kessler.. But he is a B level fighter.. But i agree he is on the ramp of becoming a A level fighter.. IMO he needs to figure out how to handle fast slick fighters like Calz and Ward.. If he can learn to box against these type of fighters he will become an A class fighter..

he can only become an A level (elite) fighter by defeating a legit A level guy.

the closest thing to an A level fighter @168 is ward who is imo A- (borderline-elite). if ward ends up wnning the super six, he becomes an elite fighter.

Sorry but Kessler can never be an A level fighter. The man can't adapt for **** and can only win gift decisions in Denmark. Great guy though.

What level is Froch, Ward on? C and D level?

And please give your definition of an A-level fighter.

It depends on your definition of A fighters? at this point you can consider the p4p top 10 A level I think a guy like kessler is b level just like paul williams, jean pascal, maidana and sturm. I like some of these guys but thats about fair, they can go up by stepping their game up, same way froch lost to kessler but his performance vs taylor, abraham, even direll makes him b+ in my eyes along with ward and bute. i dont have ward in my top 10 yet so thats why he isnt a A fighter now but winning the supersix and beating bute definitely gets him high up, he has the potential.

    Mikkel Kessler:
    43-2-0(32 Ko's)
    9-2 in world championship fights (6 Ko's)
    Have beaten 6 World champions:
    Eric Lucas
    Marcus beyer
    Anthony Mundine
    Manny siaca
    Dimitri Sartison
    Carl Froch
    3 times world champion
Only losses is to Joe Calzaghe(Undefeated Hall of famer, who may be able to sneak himself in to a top 100 greatest boxers of all time)
Andre Ward (Undefeated champion, who is likely to end up in the Hall aswell)

And i will ask everyone: Would Joe and Ward have beaten Kessler in Denmark??? (with fair judging of course).. I doubt it..

I guess thats reasonable, I didnt expect it from ward though, at the beginning I though kessler would win the supersix for sure.

Based on what? He has only one good win and he has failed to adapt his style towards a fighter where the blueprint to beat him was out there (Bika) and he was overly cautious despite totally dominating another (Green).

So I guess it's just based on fantasy fights that Ward wins in your mind that you rate him so flatteringly?

i rate ward higher since he did beat kessler... and he's leading the super six. that's why if ward ends up winning the s6 tourney, he becomes an elite fighter.

So Ward is A level based on one B-level win?

You can find plenty of forgotten fighters with one win over a superstar and you'd be laughed at if you called them A-level. Just saying.
