when someone admits there wrong and explains there decision and thought process, you can't argue with that and they gain more respect. wish that more officials did this in other sports and boxing.

Shane pleaded it was a KD, Bayless sided with a brotha. This all happened in three seconds. Just before that, Bayless WAS NOT going to call a KD.

    Simple as that.

As others have said. Bayless imo is the best in the business made a mistake and admitted as much. simple as that.

He made a mistake and has publically admitted it, respect. The decision did not effect the outcome of the fight if anything it lit some fire up Pac's ass.

Why are people giving him props for admitting he was wrong? Of course he did, he had to!! What, he was going to stand his ground after seeing the replay??

Still a top ref though, **** happens.

Fukk, that was just him minimizing further damage. Had he not admitted the booboo, he'd be called the worst ref ever by this time.

Without naming any refs, I'm sure some would have said "It was the right call, the replay does not prove anything. It's the call at the time that matters"

You guys noticed that when bayless looked at the ringside judge the judge was counting as if it was a kd? if Bayless was unsure then seeing that judge already counting may have pushed him to call a kd he thought he missed

Had he not admitted it, his career would be destroyed by this time. It was just him being smart about it, pre-empting any more complaints about his boo-boo.

Bayless doesn't have a track record of mistaken or blown calls, at least to my recollection. This seems like an isolated blunder; one that had no impact on the fight. He gets the benefit of the doubt in this instance from me.

What ref would be stupid enough not to admit to it? They replay this over and over again like this is Sportscenter.

I often see refs in football justify bull**** decisions that we all see are wrong, kenny bayless is man enough to admit he made a mistake, which is human and I forgive him for it, luckily it wasnt decisive, still one of the toprefs in the game.
