If you aren't cheating, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about by getting tested.

The commissions rules have nothing to do with the contract. Anyway, Hopkins has said he would do anything the commission ask.

Why? Because if you're a real man, you cheat?

I'm only trying to follow your logic, I'm not saying Hopkins cheats.

Yeah but you can't go changing the rules after the fight is already made .Had it been agreed upon prior there should be no issue ..

    Does this even make sense?

When no extra agreement like Floyd-Mosley or ARD-requested in Germany, regular testing rules are in effect. Now don't you find it a "little" suspcious that Pascal (who did not demand extra testing during negotiations) came out with the testing BS at the presser, and when he didn't get it, his hometown commssion comes out with it too?

How is this not biased interference? The only difference to other shows is their dude demanding something and the commission jumps.

Why not have better testing? I'm down to strict testing policy, but not the corrupt way. It's like trying to get a hometown ref for Ward-Abraham when a neutral was agreed on because Goossen has influence over the local commission. You'd expect our realistic Canadian posters (like you) to raise their voice when they try to pull hometown crap like this. Does not look good on Canada!

Ya that is the funniest part eh. Floyd asks for one and Manny's obviously on the dope cause he's refusing. Pascal asks old Popkins for one and people think it's bull****.:patsch

I think it would be a big move to introduce blood testing. They'd be the first commission to do it and it might pave the way for more commissions doing the same....but frankly I've already stated on a different thread that there is no way they actually implement a serious testing policy, it would be awful for bussiness and cost them too much money in the long run.

who cares if they do testing or not its not a big deal if you clean you'll agree to do it if your not and scared you will get caught then you don't do the testing and you let down your fans.

this is good for boxing, and Quebec is making a lead forward unlike the other Commissions on doing better drug testing, some places don't even have testing! like Texas.
the Commissions are there to keep the fighters safe and if your fighting a guy who is using ped and has speed strength and power and is hitting you in your face then you would want PED testing.

Note:I'm not saying BHOP is on PED I'm a fan of BHOP and I hope he beats Jean Pascal but I do want fare testing between the 2 to see if they are indeed clean.

But how is it an hometown advantage to make sure your opponent isn't cheating? I mean if B-Hop is clean he'll have no problems with it. If he pulls out or gets old before round 1 it will raise a lot of questions.

I agree with Philla. Post fight is the only way to go if they make it mandatory pre fight that could ****up Hopkins training giving Pascal an unfair advantage.

Good for them. Doing what a quality commission should do, ensure fair competition.

The drug tests are a bit shady since they have been modified AFTER the contract was signed, but no clean athlete should fear them.

:rofl Canada must be really upset that Nard got the rematch. They know their guy got very lucky the fight was in Canada so the judges could help JP keep his belt. The drug tests won't help JP b/c Nard's clean, but it might ruffle his feathers a bit and could take him out of his game which can't hurt JP's minimal chances.
