personally I wouldn't have any interest in claiming him, I don't like the way the Aussies, Brits and Canadians claim fighters who migrated to their countires. Obviously I wish Perez the best but I wouldn't classify him as an Irish fighter but I have to agree with what Pathmanc is saying here... I'd like to see Perez do well but if he happened to be up against a fighter from Ireland or a fighter of Irish descent like Fury then I'd be shouting for Fury

Choi and Bayaar have lived here for 10 years+ and have British citizenship. Alafoabi was born in England, and has lived in various countries. I think he is an American citizen. Chisora was born in Zimbabwe but is a British citizen has lived in England for almost all his life.

Not 100% sure on the requirements for citizenship but I'm guessing he'd comply with most of the criteria. Not sure if he's married yet but he does have an Irish born daughter.
