Just say, 2 fighters had these stats for a fight Fighter A lands 224/727 at 31% Fighter B lands 208/447 at 44% your INITIAL reaction, who performed better? dont be biased now people
i'd say the one with the higher percentage. Initially =) Then proceed to know more about the details to give me a more accurate comment. Kinda like what they do in the legal justice system. They aren't biased there =)
the one had a sitting duck as a opponent that couldnt pull the trigger the other a running man who couldnt pull the trigger. its difficult to compare and styles make fights etc.
What are you on about, we saw the trigger pulled in round 2 twiceatsch I would like one of you pacfarts to show me when mosley was running in every round, because i've watched the fight twice now, and the majority of the time mosley is in front of pac. I wouldnt say its all about accuracy, If fighter A was landing the harder punches that affected his opponent more then its fighter A for me and probably most judges I know this is a pac vs floyd question... Not trying to be biased but didnt pac land more power punches than floyd against mosley? Power Punch lands> jabs landed
Fighter A landed more punches. If those fighters fought each other and the rounds were consistent, Fighter A wins a clear unanimous decision.
You really ought to learn about boxing before you make a fool out of yourself with threads like this. You'll be the next MichiganWarrior in no time.
so wants your point, that your ***** is better than pacman, fine i believe you now let him sign the contract, its easy fight for him, easy money. just bring d muthefacker in to the ring with pacman. got it :bbb
More accurate punches usually means more jabs. Power punches tend to have less accuracy. So judging from the above numbers of Fighter A you could say that more punches were thrown and a lot were missed (mostly power punches). But that also suggests that a lot of the punches landed were power punches hence causing more damage. Nevertheless it's not enough data to completely analyze it unless you have the number of jabs/power punches LANDED. I'd say that would be the most significant number you should be looking at on paper.
In that video, all but about five seconds of Mosley being in front of Pac was because he was moving straight back, instead of at an angle.
Even though Manny gave Shane a beating .. Mosley actually had about 2 or 3 rounds that you could have gave him... ANd it wasnt because he was so effective , it was because Manny was gettin flustered and not letiting go either in a couole of those rounds, i think its shows in the punch stats...... WHere as although Floyd didnt physically beat up Shane the way Pac did.. He did decisively win every round but the 2nd, none of the rounds were close and you cant even make a case for giving Shane any, unlike his fight with Pac...
Its a real small difference in punches landed. But fifgter B got a much better accuracy, so I would say B. Depends on the type of punches tough. Plus did the one or the other hurt his opponent? How many rounds were won or lost? Otherwise its just numbers.
fighter A would win. He threw more he landed more. And alot of the shots that hit the arms and shoulders and are classed as missed shots still hurt and can affect scoring.
