haven't yet decided how am getting to Germany yet am just grateful I've managed to book a ticket online.

Nordtribüne Row: 4 Seat: 21.

looking at the map it does look a fair wee distance from the ring, will need to invest in a pair of binos!!!

WAR HAYE

Best place would be the Reeperbahn. It's superb.

mate you better get on your bike and book flights!
If your going hamburg, be prepared to be flexible or your looking at over £500 for flights.

Ferries not a bad option if you can get time off work.

I once went into Cuxhaven (Northern Germany) from Harwich.

Harwich is obviously a bit far me, I think its a few hours from London.

Need to check ferries out of Scotland into Europe and maybe get a train or a bus - am an experienced traveller anyway, I've done the long hauls before.

failing that I might get a flight to Copenhagen and get the ferry to Germany or get a flight into a nearby country and get the train, need to do some research.

whats your budget?
ive been doing a lot of research for plane routes.

Im flying out to bremen on friday night. £100 return. From bremen its a very cheap £15 train journey to hamburg. only 1 hour train ride. in total £115 flight+train.

You could also try berlin. similar prices, except the train journey is around 2 and a half hours

what website you using to book your train?

I havn't checked yet.

Budget wise am not sure yet, I've just put my credit card into £2K after booking holidays to Norway at the end of July and buying a new carpet for the stair case :fire

not to worry though I'll probably have a budget of £400-500 at a push, I'll ****ing drive there if I have to!

mate flying to bremen/berlin might be your best bet then! it will be cheaper than driving for sure. and a lot less hassle than ferry.

use www.easyjet.co.uk and www.ryanair.co.uk for flights.
and use

http://www.bahn.com/i/view/GBR/en/index.shtml

for train.

thats probably the best way to go :good

my plan is this.
Since i can only get 1 day off work:

Fly out to bremen friday evening.
Stay overnight in bremen friday evening
Take train to hamburg on satday.
stay overnight in hamburg satday
take train to amsterdam sunday morning
stay overnight in amsterdam sunday (party time)
take train back to bremen on monday
fly back to london on monday, from bremen.

You could take the train back from hamburg to bremen after the fight, but you might be cutting it close coz the last train is at around 1 i think
