Why the comment is racist: Saying, for example, that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. doesn't like to stand and trade shots is one thing.

However, saying that "black people" don't like to stand and trade is racist. Because it implicates all blacks, just by virtue of their skin color. That's racist, that's like the definition of racism. Or one definition.

Was Hearns a runner? Hagler? Tyson? Julian Jackson? Foreman? Etc, etc. They're "black people." The statement is asinine. Yes, I know that there is a certain stereotyped "black American boxing style" that is more stick-and-move than, say, the stereotyped "Mexican boxing style" that is stand-and-trade. But it's still a stupid statement.

Philadelphia fighters are often thought of as stand-and-trade types. Look at Meldrick Taylor, for example. He is a "black person" who probably should have stuck-and-moved more but decided to be more "Philly" and stood-and-traded in situations where he perhaps should not have.

There's nothing racist about that comment. If PAC said that ALL blacks are coward ***gots...yea...that would be a bit racist.:rofl All he said is he doesn't like fighting Black guys based on the last two black men he's fought. They both had the mentality to survive and NOT fight. You can't blame him for his opinion which is based on actual substance. If PAC didn't fight any black dudes and had harsh critisim then you could question Manny, but that's not the case here.

This sounds like a parody skit done on a radio show. That is, an "Imitation Pacquiao" calls up and the hosts "interview" him. This is often done for laughs, and that would fit with "Imitation Pacquiao" making outrageous statements like this one. In American radio, on certain types of comedy-driven radio shows, this kind of skit is done often.
