    it is for speed, and head movement, basicly its for defense.... but has emphises on Speed...

    Its all about getting you to remember to move your head, problem is, some fighters do it as a token gesture.

    I always made a point when I was Boxing, of stepping off the line after throwing, and if I didn't step off the line, I made sure my head was never on the line after throwing.

    Naz is old school, back in the day it was towels, why not use the foam sticks if you can get a tad bit better results?

    Anybody here used the old tire in the gym for footwork and balance?

    I first noticed the towel thing with Kotelnik, his trainer was doing it during a training session, this was before it became part of Boxing folklore through 24/7.

    I have, punching with plastic dumbbells in each hand.

    I thought they said Naz only does that at the end of a camp? Pretty sure.

    Kind of like a finish thing, at the end, you "handle" the foam sticks.
