    Pascal should be embarrassed.

I dont think there is anything wrong with the Quebec commision requesting such tests.

The commision likely cannot force Hopkins to take those tests if he does'nt want too.

.....but certainly I feel they can request it, and if Hopkins declines, then he just has to live with the stigma of having refused the test, same as Pacquiao will do, and the chance to better the sport for it.

I won't disagree that Nard Lost...I just felt he did more to win the fight but those KD were a big hurdle to overcome and it definitley wasn't a robbery.

Ain't no one testing positive! That's all I'm saying. All this yip yap is for the birds man. These are grown ass men who have chosen the sport of boxing as their profession. Sure some talk but they back that **** up. More and more we see "boxers" who are more talk than action and that's why I'm getting a bit tired of.

I admit...the "Warrior" label is a bit cliche....but you don't get into the sweet science being a ****ing creme puff.

Of coures the combatants should be clean and that's why there are governing bodies and commissions who are suppose to oversee the combatants are on the "up and up". Some slide through I"m sure of it, but there are still times where they catch those who dope.

I want better testing requirements and know it's the future but we don't need our boxers forgetting what time it is and what their role is as a boxer. That's where I have the problem.

Your point about it's these men's lives on the line is more than legit...it's real talk, but these men are already aware of the burtality of this sport and what the risks are....when they start worrying about outside **** that has nothign to do with their training and preparations is where they get distracted and don't come into a fight with full focus.

You'll be waiting a LONG time to see PAC exposed as a cheat or exposed as being "HYPE". Becuse right now, PAC has got more than just momentum on his side...he's operating at a very high level that is making a lot of noise...and PAC is clean....you won't find him with dirty **** or tainted blood. But you can keep praying on that.

Good move for them. More thorough testing is good for boxing.

Ok, I'll rpeat it one more time:

THERE WON'T BE ANY MORE TESTING THAN USUAL.

A Montreal reporter has asked the question to the Quebec boxing commission (I save you from the real name of the organization) and that was his answer.

    This rumor is plain false.

I think now it should be a lesson for all those people spreading gossips. Their will be no last minute blood testing and stuff.

You must be fairly new to boxing if you believe boxing commisions are on the up and up......

......no my friend. I cant blame a fighter that has something special to protect, to go about trying to protect it on his own terms.

For your information, boxing commisions are the most corrupt entities in any sport.

When you think of boxing commisions and alphabet groups, the first thing that pops up into a long time boxing fans mind would be the word "Corruption."

......I commend you on taking the time to post your thoughts clearly, but lets not come in here and pretend that boxing commisions have it under control, and much less to insinuate they're honest.
    Far from it my friend.

All fights should have OSDT's . Half the sport is suspect until then.

Are you saying they never even considered a new test for this fight?

The best way for hopkins to make extra cash would be for him to find a sponsor for the bottom of his feet when he is lying down contemplating the colour of the roof of the Bell centre in Montreal.

    Proven BS.

But I would certainly be proud if the "Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (RACJ)"
would make Olympic-style blood testing mandatory for all championship bouts.
