They asked him if he's going to fight Floyd, but they did not ask if he's willing to take the drug test.:think

Watching the media handle Pac is like watching Fox News correspondants handle republicans. The guy gets nothing but softballs. Compare that to the combative interviews that Mayweather gets. Brian Kenney is the only guy that I can think of that challenged Pac on the issue.

why should the media do Floyd's bidding?

I thought they were supposed to be objective.

When did I say they should do his bidding? The media challenges Mayweather. They ask him tough questions, and even deride him during his interviews. That's fine, but they don't do the same for Pac. They put on the kid's gloves when interviewing Pac.

I'm as critical of pac for not taking a test as anyone. His bs excuses and back pedalling, given the current climate of top athletes being busted for being drug cheats make it pretty clear in my mind that he's on something. But honestly guys I'm glad they didn't ask him. Cause to be frank that whole issue is old, tiresome and way too over played. The guy doesn't want to take a test. He's a cheater. SO is everyone else. Floyd and him won't fight anytime soon. Lets all move on.

I've been saying for awhile that most of the media is in the tank for Pacquiao.....

I would guess that there is a price to pay if you want to ask and corner Pacquiao into answering questions on OSDT.
.....Arum controls access and media credentials to Pacquiao and any event related to Top Rank. So pretty much if you're a journalist and you hound Pacquiao on this issue, you wont interview the PED user in the future, nor will you be allowed access to the media room for Top Rank Events.

Top Rank is like any other business, you want to be treated well by them, you have to play along unfortunately.

Agreed however, after Mosley basically quit in there vs Pacquiao, how the **** is there not anyone in the media with the balls to have asked the PED user, "Can you send a message to Mayweather Manny and voice to the public that you've agreed to full random testing."

"Am I correct Manny, you have agreed to full random testing and its Mayweather thats holding up the fight that everyone wants to see?"

I mean how in the **** are journalist not asking probing questions on this matter?
I'm embarrased for those poor chums.

I dont think it is old news. Recent video of Pacquiao has him insinuating that he's willing to take the tests for the sake of getting the fight made. "I want to see if Floyd really wants the fight." ....is the reason that Pac indicating he'd agree to the testing.

......but these are just random videos floating around in the internet. Pacquiao has'nt confirmed his desire to go ahead with the random testing to a reputable media source.
The post fight ring interview after the Mosley embarrassment would have been a good start, but instead what we got from the PED user is that he's alright with not facing Mayweather.
The desire or ambition to face Mayweather is clearly not there for Pacquiao.

exactly man I get so pissed off when I hear these interviews with Pacquiao. The interviewers on ESPN, on a big news network or after a fight never ask him if he's agreed to testing. Then Manny never calls Floyd out or mentions testing.
He says **** like "Well if te fight happens then that's good, it's for the fans. :dead"
Damnit Pacquiao, call Floyd a ***** or something and say you agreed to all his tests and that he is scared. :patsch

Mayweather sounds like and idiot, but at least he's consistant. Take the tests. Take the tests. Even his crew says it
    Roger - Take the Tests
Floyd Sr. - Take the Tests
Nate Jones - Take the Tests
50 Cent - Take the Tests :beat

Manny - I agree to the tests, even between rounds
Fans - Huh what was that? :huh
Manny - You have to beleive I am clean
    :-(

And back to the interviewers, you are right about that. ESPN brings Floyd on there just so they can get some good youtube highlights

I give props to Kenney because he did go after Manny kinda hard before the Clottey fight

his advisor said on 24/7 that he accepted a 7 day cutoff and he also accepted a post fight blood test. Everyone knows that the last week of training is just to taper off and try to stay sharp.

the drug issue has been resolved. For some it was never an issue, for some it was resolved a long time ago, but after Koncz said on 24/7 they accepted 7 days, there's no more reason for anyone to think he would be on anything.

That's why noone asks him about it.

No it has not been resolved as there are still Mayweather's who are saying, "the fight happens when Pacquiao takes the tests."

......and then there are *******s here who have said Pacquiao has agreed to full random testing, "no testing windows."

I dont think its too much to ask for that to be cleared up to the fans.

Whatever it is Pacquiao or Arum should say it.

"Manny has agreed to full random testing."

    or

"Both sides have agreed to a 7 day window, and there are other issues still to be resolved."

.......but instead, the fans are not being tuned in whether its the testing issue, money issues, or just plain Mayweather being tied up with legal issues for the fight not coming to fruition.

I believe Mayweather has been quoted as saying that the fight happens when Pacquiao agrees to full random testing.......am I wrong?

.......anyone out there have any recent quotes by Mayweather on whats detaining this fight???
