So Michael ****z came out saying that the weight for Marquez/Pacquiao III would be fought at 145. It's still a good fight imo, as Marquez is just stylewise a hell of a fight for Pacquiao despite the weight, and I do believe he still got a good amount of power at 145. However the question is can Marquez take the power of Pacquiao at 145?

Pac/Bradley would most likely be at 147. Bradley already fought there once and showed he can carry the weight ok. This COULD be Bradley's "Hatton/Tszyu" moment, where his young nonestop aggression would be too much for Pacquiao. Or it could turn out like Pacquiao/Hatton, where Pacquiao catches Bradley when he's getting close.

Which fight would YOU rather watch, and which fight is the better fight.:think

    Pac/Bradley @ 147

Pacquiao already proved to the world that hes better than Marquez and a win over him does nothing except for giving his critics ammo that Pac beat an old lightweight.

It's insane how much Ortiz's stock has gone up after his win over Berto. Good for him:happy Ortiz/Pacquiao would bring the fireworks, that's for sure.

I don't get why people think Pac is a weaker opponent at 140.

Have you all forgotten what he did to Hatton?

You're right it is crazy; when floyd retired we had a really deep division sporting the names of margo, cotto, mosley, williams, clottey, cintron, judah, collazo and other top class fighters. Berto was the young up and comer. Since then, thankfully, the top guys all fought each other we then saw cintron and williams move up, judah move down and pac beat everyone else. Everyone apart from berto. When ortiz beat him he literally became the only other option at the weight.

Welterweight is terribly weak now, pac has cleaned up 4 of the top 5 from then. Maybe bradley and jmm would prove tougher, who knows, but at welterweight ortiz is the only active name with a decent victory. Everyone else left the division.

If he beats ortiz he's cleaned the division out. Remarkable achievement.

Bradley, the young top 10 P4P'er who has fought at welter once, 1-0 and is a junior welter over the old top 6 P4P'er who has fought at welter once, 0-1 (vs. you know who... again) and is a lightweight. It'll be Marquez though. I'd pay for both, and both of these fights deserve a ton more respect than Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley. Those were certainly "milking it" fights. Bradley would be a real fight.

i think Pac/marquez would be better more entertaining and more competetive fight.

However Pac needs to silence the critics that are saying he's fighting fading legends. I think Pac needs a "young hungly lion" so Bradley would fit that mould.

    Pac v ortiz at 147
    Pac v JMM at 140
    Pac v Khan at 140

Pac will win all 3 but i would hate to see him fight Bradley at 147 i think Pac would eat him alive at that weight.JMM at 140 for me will be a great win for Pac, and the 3rd option is never gonna happen but i would love to see it!!!

JMM is better at 140. But at 145...Bradley might be a bit better.

What are you basing that on. JMM never fought at 140.

JMM at least has a stylistic advantage and if it's at a catchweight of 144 or below I think he puts up a good fight.

Bradley's gonna get blown out early or have another one of his "accidental" head butt incidents, and it's gonna end on cut.

The thing is, pac can make 140 (he has actually admitted this now) so why not make the fight there? It'll look better on his legacy - that's the only issue here aesthetics.

Whether they sign at 140 or 147 they are probably gonna weigh the same. So you then ask, is it better to defend your belt against someone from a different division or is it better to challenge in the other division for a belt?

At 140 we know both can make it. At 147 we know both can make it. Obviously it looks better for brad if he beats pac at 147 and vice versa. Atm i'm more bothered about improving pac's legacy cos he's the one who's arguably a few fights from being goat.
