Wlad Seemed More Confident Than Haye at Their Press Conference

So Haye must be Wlad's WBA Mandatory.

 

Haye was nervous alright, no denying it. I just hope he doesn't put in an Audley Harrison-like performance. I have a horrible feeling that as soon as he feels Wlad's power, the fight will be null and void. He'll run for a round or two then get knocked out. Might not even be a hard punch that puts him down but he'll be happy not to get up, take his cheque and go home.

 

It's funny reading all the amateur psychologists on here.

Also, am I reading this right? People are actually saying how good Wlad looks with a beard! hahaha, it really is like reading bunch of teenage girls on their favourite boyband's forum!

 

Shaun you gotta admit though that this kind of stuff pales in comparison to the threads prior to the latest pac fight.

 

Haye's not that type of fighter imo.

Say what you want about Haye, but he's a fighter, even if he gets beat he will go out swinging, as he did against Thompson.

 

It's a mentality thing, they grew up in Soviet era of fierce athletic competition and work ethics. I know because i grew up in the same setting.

Besides, Soviet Union fell apart 20 years ago, but the mentality largely prevailed till early 2000 so i am not sure why you're comparing it to Ottoman empire :roll:

It's all hype, but....yesterday he did say when interviewed he'd faced pressure in John Ruiz and he'd faced good boxers and used Audley Harrison as the example....granted he's hardly going to say "Well I've faced only has beens and never were's...", but even so...:rofl
