a lot of people said (including bernard hopkins) pacquiao was scared or didnt want too face black boxers.

now he faced sugar shane mosley and sugar was scared of being kod since the knock down.

    floyd mayweather
is an one endless vacation because he is even more scared of losing his 0 or getting punched with endless flurrys of punches.

the reason why I ask my thread question is because could you imagine joe frazier not fighting muhammad ali, because frazier thought back than, ali was too skilled for him or could have you imagined hagler running away from sugar ray leonard, because leonard was faster than him and a conditioning monster?

times changed and people got softer and a lot has too do with this "lil wayne tight pants, make it rain, gucci, fame for no reason" attitude a lot of athletes have today, the culture of a lot of black americans.

I am by far no rassist, had black, columbien etc friends, but when you compare the old school black fighters with todays, its man vs puppy!!!

Maybe they grew up much more comfortable than the earlier generations.

I'm a white Pacquiao fan, but I believe that if Pac fights Timothy Bradley, Bradley will step to him. I don't think black African-American fighters are a homogenuous group, it depends on the man. Bradley seems to have the same spirit and principles as Pacquiao and the Mosley of old, the opposite of the safety-first approach of Floyd and the current Mosley.

Hit the nail on the head with that one. The younger generation of today are brain washed by this new age rap mentality. Skills mean nothing, only thing that matters is how much money you make.

you cant judge all fighters like this based on mosleys performance, berto fought hard vs ortiz, bradley comes to fight, hopkins came back great vs pascal, paul williams always gives his all.

Bradley is cool guy. Also, he does not have that new age "make it rain, smack dat ass, drop it drop it low, do the stanky leg" type of mentality.

WTF? Shane hasn't been able to pull the trigger for several years. That's why they fought him. What does that have to do with other Black fighters? Bradley may lose, but he won't be afraid to bring the fight to Pac. Neither would Paul Williams. They might fight Williams if he suffers another KO loss.

If Pac and Floyd ever fight, don't be shocked if he walks down Pac just like he did Mosley. He has to fight different now cause his legs are not what they used to be.

Yes, but it's just a phase. And If Americans supported Andre Ward a little more it would be such a huge problem

Although they may not win in a fight vs. Manny, I believe Bradley, P. Williams, Judah, Mayweather would not fight scared. Against virtually anyone else, I think the above mentioned guys have a great fighting spirit, and Bernard as well.

Black people as a whole can't be looked at the same as these new Age hip hop clowns.

Bradley, Williams, ect... guys like this don't act corny, they dont talk ****, they dont brag about about money so on and so on.

These "makin dat money" fighters should be labled in a class of their own rather then being labled as black fighters.

Adrien Broner for example.........This guy is your typical new age wannabe rapper/ big mouth "money getta" who gets in the ring and dosent do ****.

Broner is one letter short from being "Boner"
    I don't trust that ******.

Boxing takes discipline if you want to be great. This "make money" attitude is for ignorant capitalists and anti Castro cubans.

    Williams,Bradley,Ward >>> Boner/Mayweather
