how big is the wlad vs haye fight?

Not as big as Mayweather vs Hatton but probably top 3 of the last 5 or so years.

Mayweather was a complete no mark, outside of the usa, when he fought Ricky Hatton.

I think it'll be a while before any fight involving a British fighter gets anywhere near Hatton vs Mayweather.

Everyone was talking about it for weeks.

Haye just a loud mouthed nobber who hasn't fought anyone whereas Wlad isn't particularly well known in the mainstream over here.

I'll be buying it and watching with interest though.

 

this is the biggest fight that can be made today behind pac-floyd.

At that time I wasn't even a Boxing fan and I was hearing about it everywhere.

As Gaz said, no one really cares that much about it outside of Europe.

It'll be big, but won't really come close to Hatton-Mayweather type buzz.
