Why are people saying Pac will blow JMM out in the 3rd fight?

Didnt the Mosley fight show you Pac is still the same? He was fighting someone who was not coming straight at him and giving him angles. He was running mostly but still he was giving him angles and waiting to counter. He just didnt have it in him to pull the trigger.

That is exactly what JMM does. He is always in an attacking position against Pac because he knows if he runs he will just lose a decision. So he stays poised like a cobra and when Pac lunges in like he did against Mosley and he is out of position JMM unleashes a quick combination to make him pay for it. I still saw Pac do his lunging in and being way out of balance after those attacks. Why do you think Arum doesnt want to make the PBF yet??

Look at how PBF fought Mosley and Pac fought Mosley. They both pressured him but only one was successful. PBF was pressuring Mosley and landing at will. Pac was pressuring Mosley and having to settle to landing quick flurries which were not near as decisive as PBFs punches.
Pac needs his opponent to come at him. If they dont he really is just working off work rate to get the win.

The 3rd fight will be great as the other 2 and i see it being very close again. Pac lunges in and gets off balance and JMM counters him with combinations to make him look bad. The only thing JMM has to do is be careful and try not to engage too much since thats when Pac usually catches him. Just wait for his mistakes counter and get out of the way. Win a 12 round decision. Sounds simple enough but JMM is a warrior and he will go for the TKO which will cost him some KDs.

Anyone saying the Bradley fight would be a better option is just high on the Pac hype still. It would be a good fight but not if JMM is in line. If i had to pick i would love a JMM fight first then Bradley.

Mayweather was not exactly more successful than Pac in the offensive department against Mosley.

Pac still outpunched and out-connected Mayweather. The only difference is that Mosley was more successful connecting against Mayweather than against Pac! Go figure!!!

I think marquez' speed and reflexes go down above 135, stylistically he can handle pacquiao, its the speed and power above his ideal weight that will give him trouble, allthough I dont think he will blow him away, but he will win.

I'm a big Marquez fan but I think Pacquiao is stronger at 140 and above and Marquez is less effective. I'd like to think Marquez could make it difficult but I fear he'd get blown away this time ....

i love marquez.....and im a *****...but i dont hate manny....

its just a gut feeling most of us have....the feeling jmm will get blitzed...kinda why i dont wanna see it...dont wanna it to ruin the two fights that weve already seen

i find it hilarious though....that 'tards were screaming bloody murder bout jmm not being able to maintain effectiveness(reflexes, speed, etc) at 147 when floyd fought him....but now that hes in the mix for pac at 147 they say "the difference is we know pac and jmm will be around the same weight on fight night"......Ohhhh?? well what about jmms effectiveness at 147? most of his skills were supposed to be nullified by carrying the extra weight at 147 when he fought floyd and thats the reason it was supposed to mean nothing that floyd made it look like they didnt belong in the same solar system

I agree with mostly everything you said, but Marquez is older now and Manny is stronger than ever.
Let Marquez work with Ariza for a few months and then maybe this fight will be competitive

At the lower weights, Pac can feel JMM's power. At this stage where Pac has put on more muscles and without draining himself, he can take shots from much bigger men like Marg, Cotto and Mosley. Pac will not respect JMM's shots now and will just walk thru. He would not even bother about defense. How will JMM cope with Pacs stronger punch now?

I think JMM could win the fight, I though he won the second fight 114-113, but I didn't complain about the results because it was so close. It could be a really good fight, I know it would be better than the Mosley embarrassment. But I don't know if it gets done because Arum would have to make an offer higher than he wants, because of the fued with GBP and Arum, they will of course match anything to keep him away from TR just for spite if nothing else. And we know Arum won't make a ridiculous offer to JMM that can't be topped. I think its a good fight that can't happen for at least a year, and then it won't be as appealing likely because JMM is getting old fast, especially for his weight class.

marquez should not be underestimated though. That happened before, it would not surprise me if he can make it competitive again, he is very good.

I don't know if I speak for all *******s but the only reason I would want to see Pac-JMM III is to watch Marquez get the **** beat out of him at a weight where Pac is comfortable. Pac fought Marquez twice where JMM was comfortable and still won. The last time Manny was as drained as he was in the second fight w/ JMM, he got KOed by a ****ing tomato can. Marquez has been overrated as **** based on a competitive LOSS to a dehydrated Pacquiao. That's how good Pac is.

Nazim said it best: "I don't wonder how he can make welterweight. I wonder how the **** he made featherweight."

    percentages dont lie.
mannys connect rate was in the low thirties in total punches and mid hirties in power punches.
while floyd landed mid forties in total punches and hight forties in power punches.
pac 224/727, 182/525(the higher number from compubox the lower from yahoo sports)
    floyd 208/477
even while shane was throwing more he managed to hit floyd less than 20% of the time.

    no *****

Marquez gets hit and will get hit in this one, he got hit and hurt by both one-dimensional Diaz and Katsidis. Now imagine Pacquiao landing his big punches, I don't and can't see Marquez recovering even if he has before. If Pacquiao hurts him he will be all over him.

There is the strong possibilty of Pacman walking thru JMMs punches, but that would not be a smart idea. Even Floyd said he felt JMMs punches, but that JMM wasnt able to land many on the defensive master is a different story. Floyd fought a defensive fight picking apart a smaller, older, slower fighter that went up 2 divisions to fight him. Manny wont fight a defensive fight with JMM and even tho Manny holds almost every advantage over JMM now, he will NOT go for the ko vs JMM. JMM is still dangerous enough to wobble Manny badly like he has is the past. A close, clear decision for Manny, maybe, but a ko vs JMM, I really dont think so. Katsidis may not be a great boxer, but his left hook is something to respect and to those idiots calling Katsidis a bum you wouldnt last 30 seconds with this guy. Pacman isnt the only puncher out there Solis said Gamboa hit harder and JMM was more hurt from Katsidis left hook than any of Mannys punches. Manny is great, but alittle more respect to the rest.

Because Pacquaio's power seems far greater at this weight class than it was at lightweight. Styles make fights though, so we shall see.

Lets see.... for the 250 MORE punches that Pacquiao threw, he landed a TOTAL of 16 MORE (at a 30% connect) than Mayweather (44% connect). I'd say Mayweather was EXACTLY more successful against Mosley than Manny was. He was easily more efficient, which after all, is what boxing matches are judged by is it not? EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION.... Be realistic.
