I'm trying to think of another writer who picked Mosley to win the fight. Nobody immediately comes to mind. Did some Floyd fans pick Shane to win? Probably so. But I'm not sure I remember another writer picking Shane to win. I'm sure there were some, though.

Here's the thing, to me: You have to dance with the one who brung you. If you picked Shane to win, you can't then say he had no shot afterward. That doesn't seem to make any sense.

It's sad, people discredit his resume but never produce names he should have fought.

Imo the only choice he made which was a cherry pick was margo, he blatantly should have faced berto instead of him. Aside from that you have to go back to the days of larios, solis and 3k when he fought a lesser ranked opponent than was available.

Pac's resume is supreme considering his era. Aside from ayala and guzman there isn't anyone I can think of that he has failed to face.

His articles are all over the place and are rife with contradictions. However, my real problem with him is sentences like this:

"In the aftermath, now that the smoke has cleared, seems what we learned from both men was far from what we initially thought."

It is a redundant run-on sentence that is not even a real sentence. And how about this one:

"When we analyze this closer, hindsight tells those of us who failed to see beforehand that Mosley is what we thought he was......an aged fighter with little left in the tank; but perhaps Pacquiao could in fact be what most never agreed to think he was.....which is a fighter who's offensive prowess is so dynamic and dynamite that it conceals the fact that he is indeed a one-trick pony, serving a bevy of combinations with no jab or other intangibles to enforce them if they don't land."

This is somehow one sentence. His use of ellipses makes no sense. I know he is not a pro writer but he tries way to hard to sound like one. His articles read like he has never taken an English class. I could go on and on

I'd still like to see him fight Berto, though I doubt that would present Pacquiao with too much of a challenge.

Margo gave Pac all he wanted. He hurt Pac and nearly dropped him. Can't recall the last time I saw Pacquiao that hurt, even if it passed quickly.

I think IntentionalButt might agree with you. I'm not sure, though. Not certain what the Yoda picture is supposed to mean.

    Vivek Atlas.

The guy is a proven racist. There's no reason to read his articles. In fact I don't even go to the front page of ESB anymore, I have the general forum bookmarked. Most of the "articles" on there are poorly written and there are threads in this forum every day that put them to shame.

I don't think there is anything "slick" about this author.

I don't know what the writer's attitudes are, in general. He does not seem to be Pacquiao's biggest fan, however.
