Anyone got more respect for Margarito now, considering how Clottey & SSM fought Pac?

    Clottey was heavier and stronger than Manny, but still was too scared to open up in case he got KO'd, so turtled up and hid behind his guard until the final bell in a disgraceful showing.

    Mosley was heavier and stronger than Manny, but still was too scared to open up in case he got KO'd, so either walked backwards or jogged backwards until the final bell in an equally disgraceful showing.

    Margarito was heavier and stronger than Manny, and tried to use those advantages by steaming forward, throwing a lot of leather, trying to pressure and pin down Pac, going for big bodyshots and uppercuts.

    Margarito is a scumbag and a cheat, but he still showed fighting heart and belief where the other two failed miserably. For that, he has my respect.

    Respect is a big word

    I cant respect Margorito after the wrap scandal, but i appreciate his performance and effort against Pacquiao. Thats as far as it goes

    Yes at least he kept trying to land and hurt manny. Clottey and mosley just simply fought to lose:roll:

    But clottey and mosley can live and fight another day. I heard margo's eye is still ****ed up and might not be able to fight again.

    margo tried to win, mosley and clottey tried to survive..... props to margo who not once stopped trying til the last bell.....

    What do you mean more respect?

    Never had any for him!!!

    He is too stupid for his own good!!!

    I think the only one who has no clue yet is "Hatesrats" and "Freddy-Wak" :D:D

    This guy has never stopped trying in any fight I have ever seen, so more respect no, always respected him and his will to win in the ring. Wrap scandal aside, boxing could use more guys like this in my opinion because he always makes it a fight no matter what, even when Pac was kicking his ass he wasn't deterred, that's a hell of a lot more than you can say about Mosley last Saturday.

    I respected it at the time, but when viewed in contrast to all the other of the welterweights efforts, Margarito stands out, for sure.
