Why are people saying Pac will blow JMM out in the 3rd fight?

All Marquez got to do is keep the weight he's comfortable with and if they want to fight at 147 so let it be.

Arum and Roach will have a problem with this saying he must scale the weight at 145-146 when Juan should come in at 142 or 141 ,trust me the damn tricks Top Prank pulls.

Pac may be a bit slower, but how about a 38 y/o lightweight who will have to fight Pac at 144-145? Even at 140, he“ll be considerably slower on his feet.

Manny has been draining himself to make 130 in his previous fight at this time. He was already set to move up to 135 for D. Diaz before they gave into the fans to fight the rematch with p4p #2 JMM at his comfortable weight of 130.

Remember this so I don't have to post it again. ;)

When you've essentially conceded the fight by the third round and revert to survival mode, that should qualify as getting dominated. If the only round you could've won thru a fluke bogus kd was summarily disregarded by 2 judges, then that should qualify as getting dominated. When you land 66 punches (which for the most part were pitty-pat "please don't hurt me" jabs) per the course of 12 rounds, then that should qualify as getting dominated).

I read this somewhere but I think it best summarizes Pac's total domination of Shane---"Shane couldn't against Floyd, but Shane wouldn't against Pac". That is to say, in Shane's mind he always had a chance throughout that fight to beat Floyd whereas against Pac he had already accepted defeat by the third round. The only point of contention here is which domination was more impressive? In my book, at the elite level 99% of boxing is mental, and when you've spooked a feared powerpunching "warrior" such as Shane into that cowering running version last wknd....that to me is more impressive albeit tt does make for a boring and lackluster fighte.

Wait so cutting weight can affect your performance??
Now it makes sense why Pac has looked so good in his last few fights. He has made his opponents cut extra weight!! Thank you for that insight. Now i see the light.

It's just Manny accommodating heavier guys who desperately want a fight with a big pay day genius not the other way around. Hope you see a better light this time.

I think Marquez could have beat the same guys Pac beat if he used catchweights too. Just not with KOs but with counterpunching.

The reason why Pac can afford to lunge at Mosley is because the latter is unwilling to engage. I'm sure Pac will do a different tact against Marquez who is quite slow as a welterweight. I don't think what he can counter effectively as he used to do as a lightweight. If Katsidis, an average lightweight fighter, can knock him down, Marquez will be knocked out by Pac in 6 rounds.

Maybe, maybe not. We don't know. But Pac has proven he can fight bigger boxers in welter.

Marquez got older, Pacquiao got younger. This fight will be different. Competitive for some rounds, but more definitive than the prior meetings strictly due to the increase in power of Pacquiao..
