    Pac's sloppy performance can be attributed to a lot of reasons. I thought however that Nazim did a great job in exploiting manny's obvious weaknesses just as he repeatedly promised in his pre-fight interviews. He knew fully well that a 40 year old shane has no chance against the speed agility and power of the pac.

    So all along mosley camp's strategies were:

    1) to keep a friendly (probably romantic) relationship with pac and his camp before the fight. No bull**** talk, all giving props to pac. Roach has repeatedly said that pac has trouble beating guys which he truly likes. due perhaps to compassion or respect, or whatever. Bottomile is, pac is not the monster that we usually see whenever he's in front of an opponent who he truly respects. This is a pac weakness nazim and mosley have exploited

    2) for shane to show and keep an exaggerated friendly relationship with pac during the fight. The tapping of gloves, the hugging, and all that crap. This show of affection from mosley was enough to prevent pac from gaining momentum as everytime he tries to throw combos on mosley, shane would act as there was headbutt and then they will touch gloves. Pac was effective whenever he gains momentum, and touch gloves and headbutt actings simply kill his momentum. Another pac weakness capitalized by mosley

    3) The marquez blueprint. Pac always trouble against fighters who move to his right, thus giving pac difficutly in using his left, and renders him open to counter punches.Another pac weakness seems to me;

    4) Pac is without adequate skill to cut rings. This was exposed during the cotto fight where pac has to chase cotto around the ring. Mosley has never moved forward the entire fight and as expected, pac chased after him all night while shane tried to be a counterpuncher;

    5) Again with his age, Mosley and his camp knew fully well that shane can never be prepared for a toe to toe battle with pac. Shane keeps saying before the fight that there will be exciting exchanges of punches. Shane was lying. There was never any intention to exhange punches with pac. What mosley's camp was trying to do was to convince pac that shane will go forward and use his strength. Mosley's camp wants a pacman who does nothing but move forward, throw punches, and then open himself up for counterpunches. What we saw confrims this. The shane that we saw is a shane who tries to be a boxer counter puncher. Not a shane during his fights with cotto, margarito, mayweather and mora

    Nazim a genius?:lol:

    Nazim drew up the JMM blueprint for Shane. The problem is that he asked a fighter that did'nt have the tools to implement it.

    Thats not what a trainer should do.

    Nazim should have looked at Mosley's strenghths and weaknesses and devised a gameplan to beat Pacquiao based on that.

    .....anyone with a brain knew that Mosley had to come out guns blazing and catch Pacquiao early.
    ....but instead he came out attempting to fight a tactical fight (never his strong point) against a quicker and faster fighter both of hand and feet.:patsch

    Nazim it seems did'nt have the guts to send Shane out on a Kamakazee mission.....his only chance to beat Pacquiao.

    Nazeem's never been a actual trainer he's there for strategy and gameplan thats what he always did. He's failed at some points but talk as much S as you want about him he has always had a pretty solid gameplan for how his fighters should fight.....

    At 120 on two cards and 118 on the other, that's two rounds where the plan worked.

    Not exactly evidencing a genius move.

    I guess he planned the knockdown also, man, Mosley was hurt, from then on Mosley was not even close to being in the fight.

    120,120,119 actually and technically it should all have been 120s given the bad call by Kenny.

    Ignoring the fact that it was a slip and not a knockdown, how did two judges have it 120? Shane should have at least gotten a 10-9 round with the knockdown.

    I wouldn't call him a genius but it was clear his plan could have seen some success were it not for about 8 years of diminishing physical attributes on Shane's part, and Demarcus Corley's newly marketed boxing shoes bloodying up Shane's foot. I think he's a good strategist and trainer. If he works with more fighters I think he'll get a chance to show his stuff better. Shane being shot does not equal Nazim being inept.
