This fight smells of another fighter looking for a big payday, JMM came in at 142 vs Floyd and looked really bad, fact is this fight with Pacman should of been at least at 140 to give JMM a chance.

At 144 Pac will come in around 142/143 and blitz JMM inside 8 rds.

JMM should not be fighting above 135, that why he did not take Khan at 140, yet now takes Pacman at 144.

Of course he's looking for a big payday. That's a given.

It's also a chance to beat the biggest star/#1 p4p fighter in the sport and settle their score.

    Why be suprised?

JMM wanted this fight for years. If JMM is taking a risk then he might as well go for the fight that will generate the biggest money. Do you realize where Pac is compared to Khan in terms of stature?

If JMM loses to Pac on a catch weight he can go back to 135 where he is still the man to beat.

    Smart decision. :deal

This is same as JMM fighting Floyd at 145, 1 pound difference.

    So?

Jmm doesn't have to weigh in at exactly 144, he can weigh in at 141 and still be inside the welter limit.

Marquez doesn't have the negotiating leverage to get the weight down anymore. Pacquiao is the one with the leverage, he's the star and box office draw.

Because he's going to get paid way more money, and also has a chance to dethrone the sports #1 p4p fighter and biggest star.

It's not hard to figure out.

His trainer advised him Khan at 140 is too much a risk, yet they agreed to fight Pac at 144, it seems there motive for this fight is not winning but the money it will generate.

If he comes in at 141 vs Pacman, he could of come in at 137/138 vs Khan.

Thats what i am saying, Pac's camp got the upper hand, this fight should be at 140 to give JMM a fair chance, JMM is getting ****ed again just like Mayweather fight.

That's what happens when you have the negotiating leverage. You can demand more things and get away with it. The bulk of the money, weight stipulations, ring size, etc...Look at fighters like Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Oscar De La Hoya, Pacquiao, etc...they've all used the upper hand to get these sort of things in their favor.

Of course Pac has the upper hand, he's the P4P king and face of boxing at the moment. JMM who can't attract flies... hmm c'mon do we really need to explain how this works?

Did you read my earlier post? Khan and Pacquiao is way too far apart in stature. So JMM, if he is taking risk might as well pick the fight that will generate the bigger money.

It's a matter of which risk Jmm is willing to take.

And I think that risk is too great for a winning chance, people getting happy for this happy for this fight, well I am not, Manny is going to KO JMM in this fight, Manny is a different animal around these weights as JMM will find out.
