I can't speak for Frankie but the best Irish prospect at his weight is his stable mate Dean Byrne so it's unlikely they'll be fighting.

Another eligible opponent could be Peter McDonagh but Frankie has already fought him and beaten him, there's also Michael Kelly who Frankie beat to take the title but Frankie is now above this level of opposition in my opinion and Jamie Kavanagh has moved down to lightweight so it's unlikely you'll see a defence anytime soon. You can hardly blame Frankie for that.

I would pay to see that, it's in your court, why don't you make it happen then, you have the pull, if you trade with Al Harbi your career wil be in tatters. Now lets examine your punching power your first opponenent was kadaria a small Lightweight who cut your face to ribbons, your desperation showed in your attempts to stop him, he was short notice opponenent who got very tired at the end, as you piled on the pressure to wear him down, after that fight he got ko'ed by a guy 3-3 in about 2 rounds.

Frarema was ko'ed by a debutant in round 2, you took 3 to stop him. Fearn he drew with Jason Thompson 0-6. Steve saville a very small lightweight was finished when he fought you and had to take it at short notice for money like most of your opponenents, in fact he was stopped at 133 ilbs and lost to the journeyman Al Hamidi before he fought you on his home show. Tergaoui gave you real trouble befor the famous stoppage at bell for the end of the fight, since then he has been stopped in 2 rounds by Guebbas 11-15-4 in france. Mcdonagh 14-15 hit you more then anyone else and you never looked likke stopping him. Tait 34 years old, since you beat him he has been beat by another Journeyman Danny Dontchev, though he did reverse it, but who does dontchev beat ? Michael Kelly for the Irish Title another dubios stoppage, lost to 8-3 buzz Grant at 134 ILbs and drew with 2-0 Morozovs. Lomax your best performance though he was weight drained, but he was outclassed and stopped in 3 by Kel Brook. Everyone fights lower class fighters early in thier career, but you would expect more from someone with nearly a hundred amatuer fights, who had fought the best all over the world, who had GB squad training with the best facilities and won a world championship. Let me tell you something Gavin if you get this upset over a young prospect, then what are you going to do when the top fighters start rubbishing you, looks like mentally you are imature and easily rattled.

Take this as a valuable lesson, when someone has a go at you, be cool and calculated, don't get rattled or you will lose, the only way to get beat if you are a good boxer like yourself is to lose your composure. You should thank me for giving you your first lesson iin mental warfare. I have complimented you on the forums, but I hate to see young prospects set up and attacked on line, we need them in this country, as we need a Frankie Gavin.

Boxen is such a petty twat.

And Rob, I'd give it a rest. You're making yourself look a bit of a tit, kind of like your infamous ''he's not in great shape because he hasn't got the muscularity of Tim Bradley'' argument.
