lets talk about shaws motives, why release a tweet making bradley look bad, why cut in your own purse and release that info? Its because he wants bradley to sign the fight and extend his contract with him, everyone hating on him would do the trick he thought, yet bradley is still laying low. He will leave shaw first then big fights might happen.

Yeah I pretty much think this explanation is completely plausible. Even if Shaw is not trying to extend Bradley, he still has a clear motive to pressure him into taking this fight before his contract runs out.

With his pending contract expiration about to put him on the open market combined with how the situation at 147 has played out (Berto loses his 0, Floyd still in no rush to make the Pacquiao fight, a lack of possible opponents that haven't already been defeated by Manny/Floyd), Bradley's in a much better position to land a fight with Pac or Floyd than he was a year ago, and might not even have to go through Khan to do it.

I think we'll see him go for an easier opponent as a showcase fight around the same time as Pac-Marquez, and that will be no coincidence. My gut tells me he's holding out for the Pacman payday, which would trump the still-significant money he could make facing Amir.

definitely, one thing I dont get though is why bradley cant get a contract for a fight with khan that would still make him free of shaw once his contract expires. I dont see why the contract has to include a extention of his deal with shaw.
If bradley asks that and a big cut of the money or otherwise he will not fight and let his contract expire shaw is obligated to make it happen because atleast then he will make some money.

    All of the above.

And what the hell does 80% of net revenues even mean? It's not like the fight would do a good live gate anywhere outside of London. After you take out site fees, promoters fees, marketing costs, etc., I bet that 80% of net revenues probably comes out to about $0.

So based on what exactly Bradley demands more money? How much in your opinion Bradley realistically generates (live gate, off TV)?

I think Bradley deserves the money as he has done more than Khan and Berto have ever done.

I am more than certain he signs with Golden Boy as he will get to face Amir Khan, Maidana, and Matthyse, and Malignaggi.
