McCloskey Prescott this September?

Yeah it will be interesting to see McCLoskey running around the ring and getting a hometown decision and then demanding a rematch with Khan.

What Hearn is trying to do is get the WBA to at least make a McCloskey fight for the "Regular WBA Champion" if Khan is promoted to the "Super Champ" position. That way they can claim that McCloskey is a world champion. Ofcourse most of the Irish people don't understand all the title business, especially the WBA title business, so they will believe it! Then they can promote McCloskey as a world champion in Ireland and he will sell **** out. It is a good plan I must say

 

Why do you have to specify that most Irish people don't understand the title business? Most people don't, everywhere. Shitloads of Brits watch Haye thinking they are watching the #1 heavyweight in the world.

 

I reckon I might be able to pick up one of these world titles soon enough :-(

 

Because mccloskey is irish and it will be the irish fans who will go to the fight and wont understand the situation fully, just like when haye fights we say the BRITISH PUBLIC havn't got a clue.

 

I agree with you there. But McCloskey will be fighting in Ireland so that is why I said that.
