I'm not sure this can be said for any boxer from welter to light heavy who faces Tommy Hearns. Nobody would have that easy of a night against Hearns, even at 175.

 

It would have been a brutal manhandling of Hearns.

 

Hearns was massive compared to Saad and i see Hearns most likely knockin out Saad in a fight which resembles Andries v Hearns

Matt would go right after Tommy's body like Hagler did, and we saw what Saad Muhammad did in one of his easy defenses with hooks to the body of southpaw Louis Pergaud. This isn't a question of who wins, but of how long it lasts before an enervated Hearns crumbles.

 

Hearns would crack Saad his defense is way to leaky...even worst than Andries...and he could'nt box as good as Dennis who showed a decent jab against Hearns..

Saad (as Matt Franklin) was an above average boxer before he decided to become a brawler.

But, Saad wouldn't try to outbox a master boxer like Hearns.

Saad would get the fight into a brawl, might get cut and knocked down, but would eventually knock Hearns out (or TKO)

(if Iran Barkley could beat Hearns, Saad definitely can)
