I can't beleib nonito scored it for Marquez. I will definitely have to drop off my p4p list for that.
Get over it guys....PAC REALLY won. All you gotta do is check the record books. If you are asking who really one the FIRST fight....that is a legit question due to the error in scoring the 1st round by one of the judges. Both were close fights and if you poll you'll see it split right down the middle. As in the case for most close fights when asked who won.
You only put people who picked MArquez... Yeah that looks good like that...:nut People scored it 6-6 or 7-5 and then...call those who scored it for the other guy ******s or morons...Wow... To the TS...WHo really won? Look at boxrec.
You can't take kds out of a boxing match. It's a game based on a point system, not a fight in an alley. Kd's count as 2 pts.
It's a legit question to you because Pac won. But I agree about the first fight, Pac won that one. But I think Marquez won the second one. Pac and Marquez = 1 for 1
Post the pacquiao ones... - Harold Lederman, HBO:115-112 Pacquiao - Michael Herron, eastsideboxing.comacquiao - Paul Strauss, eastsideboxing.comacquiao - Eric Sloan, Washington, D.C. examiner.com: 114-113 Pacquiao - Nick Alejo, PhilBoxing,com:114-113 Pacquiao - Hermie Rivera, PhilBoxing.comacquiao - Ken Pollitt, *****************:114-113 Pacquiao - Michael Nelson, The Boxing Bulletin:114-113 Pacquiao - John Vaci, The Boxing Bulletin:115-113 Pacquiao -onepunchko, ESB *******: 114-113 Pacquiao Any more? not really all the main one's and boxing experts are on Marquez favor LMAO at Harold lederman. Also They don't put an asterik on a fight for nothing... real fans and boxing experts know what really happened. It's not called a controversial win for nothing.
I'm not saying you're wrong if you had JMM winning the 2nd fight. It's about personal preference. JMM won more rounds....but PAC inflicted more damage and scored the only KD's. But what matters at the end of the day is what's going down on paper. It wasn't anything resembling a robbery therefore in a close fight like this one.....credit goes to the one who had his hand raised.
I dont see the problem, in fights that are very close you will always have people who disagree with the decision. for example williams vs martinez 1, many felt martinez won, but it was a very close fight, I scored it a draw. Was it a robbery? definitely not. Williams winning is fair in a situation like that, actually any decision would have been fair. Problem is if there is a judge with a bull**** card giving martinez 1 round or something thats ridiculous. other example, clottey vs cotto. These kind of fights are not robberies. Pernell whitaker vs chavez thats a robbery.
I never understood why people are confused why past fights get talked about, especially fights where many people thought the winner lost. That's what this place is for.
