Who really won, Marquez vs Pacquaio 2?

I maintain my position that the best that you can give Marquez for this fight is a draw.

I suggest two things:
- Watch it on mute
- Watch it on slow motion (Marquez wasn't landing crisp shots all the time)

so u really think de la hoya won against sturm? or that chavez drew against whitaker? robberies exist in boxing. this was a close but clear victory for marquez. marquez was robbed.

People only do it about two fights, this one and a little less on floyd vs castillo 1, its again the whole ***** vs ******* discussion that causes for daily threads about marquez being robbed as a attempt to discredit pacquiao.

I think marquez winning a close fight, pac winning a close fight or a draw are all fair outcomes for this fight, its not the robbery people want it to be. and in the end there will be several clear rounds, a kd in round 3 and the close rounds 1,7,11 how you score these create the outcome, that wont change now and a 100 threads from now it wont change either.

 

the very best u can give pacquiao is a one point unanimous decision loss.

So we should base our decision of a fight based on three rounds?

When the fights first took place the majority of the board though Marquez won. There wasn't as much outrage as there is now, but the polls back then clearly favored Marquez as the winner. Now that Pacquiao is blowing up as a boxing superstar there have been a significant amount of fans who just stand by Pac because of that. In general its good to see more fans, but I'd rather be a fan of the sport than of just one man.

I ALSO DID favor Marquez and was as surprised as Pac when his name was announced as the winner UNTIL I rewatched the fight in slow motion and without the nosy commentators.

I thought DLH edged Stum, barely....but For those who said Strum won, I have no qualms about that either. Close fight...not a robbery.

Chavez vs Whitaker is a differnt story like the LL vs Holy fight. Those were blatant robberies and for those in the know.....they don't give too much credit to what's on paper.

A true robbery is Santa Cruz vs Casa or Burton vs Agustas. Not PAC vs JMM, unless you are talking about their first fight where PAC was literally ROBBED of the win.
