Mosley was anywhere from a 7-1 to 11-1 underdog. His fight with Floyd was like 3-1.

It would make more sense to compare this fight to Floyd - Marquez, bc Marquez was also a huge underdog. That fight only did 1 million

If the these new PPV numbers are true, Pacquiao did 1.2 mill (could be more) against an 11-1 underdog

    Pac wins, bitches

3+ to 1 viewers and he could only barley top Mayweather/Marquez after Mayweather was inactive for nearly 2 years?
    What a win.

^ That was Mayweather's comeback fight , yeah what a win for him too.

Paquiao - Marquez will exceed Maywethers numbers , if that fight happens.

Lets see Maywather do 1.2 + million buys against an 11-1 underdog. I'll see it to believe it.

:clap:Actaully I'm very impressed that Manny was able to do 1.2 million. I swore that this fight wasn't going to out sell the Margarito fight that had way more going for it. So Pacquiao did a very well job BUT

    Mayweather/Mosley 14K
    Pac/Mosley 12K
    Mayweather/Hatton 8.5K
    Pac/Hatton 8K
    Mayweather/Marquez 10k
    Pac/Marquez 4K:lol:
    Mayweather/Oscar 24K:shock:
    Pac/Oscar 1.25K

^ Pac was a RISING PPV star in most of those PPV's. If the Pacquiao Marquez fight happens, wait for the numbers, they'll exceed Mayweathers.

So Floyd came back after almost 2 years of inactivity to fight a lightweight in a match most only accepted as a tuneup. Pac fought Mosley when Pac's fame is at an all time high and his camp/fans are steadily trying to beat Floyd whether it be PPV buys, live gates, fight outcomes, etc..

With all that being said Pac - Mosley outsold Floyd - JMM by around 200k?

    Yup... Pac wins!

Marquez was a 4-1 underdog.. I believe the odds on my off shore sports betting account were -400 floyd.. +300 marquez

Im not saying Floyd wins but if the numbers are correct Mayweather did better.

Comparing Marquez is really silly and shows how limited your knowledge is, remember UFC went up against PBF vs Marquez on the same night (which would have taken some casual fans away) and PBF STILL did 1 Million.

Plus the fact is Marquez is less of a draw than Mosely

Don't set yourself up for failure as when Pac fights Marquez he wont be doing 1 Million it will be Joshua Clottey numbers 700K

Pac fans are too eager to try and put down Floyd's achievemnts in an attempt to elevate Pacs.

Men lie, women lie numbers don't! 1.4 > 1.2 simple.

People forget that PBF v JMM went up against the UFC. The UFC believed they could outdraw that fight and PBF won the ratings war that night even though some casual would of bought UFC instead. Just how many promoters would be ready to go up against the UFC? HBO and GBP rightly had plenty confidence that PBF could draw the numbers regardless.

Plenty people on here didnt think PBF v JMM would do 1 mil buys.

PBF may not be as entertaining as some people want but u cant deny people will pay to watch him fight. Plenty people thought it was funny when PBF got booed at the Berto v Ortiz fight but the only one laughing is PBF. Whether they boo you or cheer you it doesnt matter, what matters is people care.
