Gamboa is way better than Pac in every department!

    How come? I think Gamboa and Pac are about the same height of about 5'5 or 5'6. So, why can't Gamboa grab titles at 140? :-(

    Gamboa is actually stronger than Pac in physique.

    Hamed would beat him? LOL.

    Hamed got famous beating up tomato cans. Pac got famous beating the greatest boxing had to offer.

    The moment hamed came over to the states, he started sputtering against better fighters.

    Also solis is older and more beaten up. You cant count on what one guy says.

    Its a ultra small sample size.

    (I'm trying to be as reasonable as possible here so rabid Pac fans don't jump all over me and eat my brain).

    Height is only one factor to size - there are also reach, fist size, shoulder, forearm, etc.

    He is already 29 and just starting his career. At 29 Pac has already beaten several HoFers.

    Plus his chin is suspect (not weak just seems to be suspect).

    And I am unsure where you get this "Gamboa is stronger". Unless you have some evidence that is just stating an opinion. And the way Pac has handled Cotto, Hatton and Margarito - I disagree with you.

    Gamboa has 3 years to move from 126 to 147 to even come close to what has Pac done in the last 5 years. I doubt it is going to happen. For now I can only see him a top 3-5 P4P. Unless he starts beating up 140ers I dont think he can crack #1P4P.

    Boxing isn't about looking better then another boxer. It is about what you accomplish in the ring.

    Let see if this guy who is superior to Pac in every way can even accomplish half of what Pac has done. When it is all said and done all that matters is what you've actually done in the ring and not how great you look.

    When Gamboa is able to sustain those qualities in a period of 10 straight years against top opponents, we can start this kinds of discussion.

    Otherwise Mike Tyson should be GOAT by a comfortable margin. Guy seemed to have everything.

    Now that is a massive overrating of Gamboa, he is not a proven fighter. Nowadays to many young undefeated fighters are beaten. Lopez, Jones(should have lost to Karass), Berto, Vasquez etc.
