I thought Perez looked good, cleared out Prizefighter which is a nice way to get some publicity out there. How much does he weigh? I think boxrec has him at 6'0, could he cut to cruiserweight? Also, he wears the Irish flag, but he is from Cuba. Did he immigrate to Ireland or something, or does he just train there. would love to see Perez v. Arreola, Perez v. Boytsov, Perez v. Chisora
Given the body fat % on Ortiz, Gomez & especially Solis - I'd say Perez could chow down on some ropo vieja all through training camp and still lead the pack in fitness. :yep
He has been criticised in the past for being overweight and not training so I doubt we'll see him cut anymore weight and drop to cruiser. Also, he's not going to get as much exposure at crusier. Yeah, he emigrated from Cuba to Ireland about 3 or 4 years ago and has a daughter in Cork
He undoubtedly has bags of potential but apparently isn't dedicated so he'll probably not go on to achieve big things.
