I'll probably put them into categories for next month before posting them here. Just to make it a bit easier for you to sort which ones you want, and which you dont.

To start off, this week isn't nearly as bad as last week with the F rated fights and fighters and what not. This week we get Roberto Santos-Francios Bastient. Don't know who they are, but I got Santos by UD because he's at home. Other than that we got a nice little group of fights

Alright, so now, starting off with the Aussie fight. I've got Serge Yannick, the surging prospect by late round stoppage. I believe he's pressure and cracking ribs shots will wear down the worn out vet, Shannan Taylor.

Martin Welsh, haven't seen much of him, but from what I can tell he's a bit crude. At times acts like a power puncher, but doesn't have much pop. Also, he hasn't fought anybody and is very green. This will be the first time he will be going ten rounds. Rose is green and has no resume himself, but he's not as green and what not. So, I gotta go with Rose by UD.

I've heard whispers that Noe Gonzalez Alcoba that he's pretty good. Going by hear say, I'm taking Alcoba by UD.

I've got Cristian Mijares just outclassing his opponent, Malik Bouziane. Don't know how he's got a shot at a world title, but eh whatever. Mijares by domination and a late stoppage.

Arrerola fight should be fun for those at the arena. Both fighters bring it, and I've got Arreola strength and power beating Nagy Aguilera.

I've got the prospects, Jether Oliva and Billi Facundo Godoy winning their fights.

Ok, now, for the real meat & potatoes for this weekend. All 4 of these fights are exciting in their own way.

Starting off with the fight across the pond off, Sam Webb-Prince Arron is probably the fight that is really intriguing and I'm really looking forward to seeing. The odds on this fight are way off, IMO. This is a pretty close 50/50 type fight. Arron is tall, very tall. And he uses his size perfectly. Long jab, and stands very tall, think Wladimir Klitschko with his style. Arron's career started off a bit shaky as a 160 fighter, but since dropping down to 154 and having Bob Shannon in his corner, his career has done a 180. Sam Webb's experience has been key for him, his style has changed quite a bit. Early on he would be an in-your-face type brawler, but now he boxes uses his jab and he fights smarter. You see his record and he only has 5 KO's, but I think that is a bit misguided so to say. I believe he does have more power than that. This is a very interesting fight really, and I think it will be a crack er of a fight. The key for Webb I belive is countering the jab, Arron throws the jab out quite a bit which you gotta love, but he has a tendicity to drop it after he throws or brings it back slowly. His chin is there to be hit if Webb throws the right hand. Again, I think this is a close fight and I do give Arron a good shot at winning, but I've got Webb winning by late round stoppage.

Sharife Bogere is a very hot prospect and this is a very nice step up fight for him. Beltran is a bit long in the tooth now, but still a very good fight for a prospect such as Bogere. Bogere is very talented, good power, terrific speed. Beltran may get overwelmed early, but if he can survive then we may see Bogere go quality rounds with a quality opponent. I've got a hunch though that Bogere will breakdown Beltran. Beltran may survive early, but Bogere's youth will survive him well and may'be that the stoppage late.

As a side note, this is on Showtime. Billed as the "Undefeated Prospect Card" You gotta watch this ShoBox. Unfortunately, Gary Russell Jr. pulled out so he won't get the big lights, but Heavyweight Seth Mitchell is the headliner. Big test for him going up against Evans Quinn. Quinn can bang, we shall see if Mitchell is for real.

Now, my favorite fight this weekend on Friday Night Fights, Kendall Holt-Julio Diaz. Just a little over a year ago Kendall Holt slumped on his stool, quitting against Kaizer Mabuza. Julio Diaz almost a year ago was celebrating a nice win against former title challenger Heman Ngoudjo. Now, both are facing each other, big huge fight for both. A crossroads fight. Win and you keep moving on up, a loss and both of them will have a hard look and really have to decide is it worth it still. Both fighters have great resumes, they've been there and done that. It's all about styles in this fight. Kendall Holt folds under pressure and I don't know if he is really up and still dedicated to boxing. I know Diaz is, he's working hard and pouring his heart into it. I just don't know with Holt, he lacks mental strength and heart. I think if Holt's heart and mind is in it, I think he'll win, but if it isn't I think Diaz will beat him and may'be even knock him out. Holt's daydreaming after 2 rounds is just too much of a risk. Diaz by last round stoppage.

The easiest fight to predict what will happen. Ward-Abraham. This fight is going two ways. Either Abraham catches Ward and KO's him or Ward beats him and wins every round by UD....and then the very very small chance of Ward actually stopping Abraham or Abraham winning by decision. I'd give both of those about 0.5% chance, because you can never say never. AA's heart might not be in it and he just quits on his stool and AA could knockdown Ward 4 or 5 times and get the decision. In all seriousness though let's get to the fight itself, and I don't think it's as easy as some people are suggesting. I do give Ward a major major chance of winning this fight, as really anybody should, but I'm definitely not counting out Abraham due to the fact that he does have a major punch, but also due to the fact that Ward does not have a strong jab. He paws with the jab and he isn't consistent with it. Ward isn't a big guy so I don't think his jab will knock back Abraham. This isn't Froch or Dirrell who are big guys and have good power jabs. So, that gives Abraham a good chance, and also can Ward hang on for 12 rounds of sticking, moving, and trying not to get hit by Abraham. He will be tested mentally. Also, his style leaves him vulnerable at times. He jabs comes in and clinches...he comes in and he leaves himself exposed just a bit. You can work in an uppercut. Also, Ward leaves himself exposed when you throw a jab out there. What he does, now I doubt if Abraham will do this I'm just talking about a flaw I see in Ward's game that somebody down the line could possibly take advantage of, but you if you jab, may'be double up the jab and get close enough, Ward dips to his right side. He leaves himself vulnerable if you jab and boom shoot a left uppercut.

Anyway, with all that said I do fancy Abraham having a pretty good shot. He's got a decent enough shot. Key points: Ward doesn't have a strong jab, average chin, not real big, likes to come in and clinch a lot giving AA a shot to land a straight power punch. I'll be looking forward to it, should be fun for all 36 minutes to see whether or not Abraham can catch Ward.
