There is a lot of uncertainty in the career of Antonio Margarito at the moment. The former champion from Tijuana recently saw a rematch with Miguel Cotto first be postponed and later fall apart completely after he found out a recent broken orbital bone would prevent him from preparing for the Puerto Rican adequately. Margarito suffered the injury in his last fight, a punishing twelve-round loss to Manny Pacquiao last November, as he took several flush, piercing blows from the dynamic Filipino southpaw. Margarito had been eyeing a comeback against Cotto, whom he defeated via 11th round TKO in July of 2008, but now has to accept the reality that his career is hanging in the balance as he attempts to determine just how severe this situation is.
no one is to blame. Maybe his corner should have stopped the fight earlier, but really these things happen. An injury at the wrong place can end a career. I would think this type of injury would heal up completely.
1st blame robert garcia the trainer, pacquiao's fist, referee, doctor on why they did not stop the fight earlier
no, the reward is the respect he earned even from people who think he is a cheating pieace of ****. you wouldnt know nothing about that.
:deal.. Margarito went out like a man... I will always respect antonio margarito! There's no one to blame...
Floyd Mayweather Jr. If the ***git had of just signed the contract then the Margo fight would of never happened.
Maragarito was advised by his friends and former team members to retire or at the very least take time to recover from the injuries before fighting again.

I definitely would put some blame on Robert Garcia. A trainers ultimate job is to protect his fighter. Even from himself.
