    He does not have the same aura as Tyson. No single boxer in the world could stand with Tyson in his peak. Whereas there are hundreds of boxers who would actually kill Pacman in the ring. He isnt Heavyweight Champ so end thread.

    I think Mike is the last true boxing megastar. Not Mayweather or Pac will be able to reach Tyson's level in terms of popularity.

    DLH entered the money divisions when they were stacked. Pac entered the money divisions when the wars between the welters were largely over. Pac reigns supreme over the largely spent forces of 2007-2008.

    But yes, little Genghis Khan is like Mike in the 80s. Fighters come in expecting to lose from the opening bell.

    He's talking about the excitement factor, public interest, and the fear the champion inspires in opponents who just want to get out alive to enjoy the money they made.
