He has the movement and footspeed to negate wlads jab and right hand,he will move forward and close distance quicker than wlad has had done to him before,but haye wont move in straight lines back or forth,he will move side to side from angles,he will move away from the right hand and be at the side of wlad stopping the jab,pushing wlad and stopping him coming forward by pressure and tactical movement.

Haye can have wlad turning and move more than he wants to,stopping him setting his feet to land,stopping him getting full range on his straight punches,make wlad not land anything,make wlad move and chase if he wanted to aswell,wlad would waste energy trying to close down,haye will move,then time and duck under punches and counter before wlad even knows about it.

Haye can be out of range or away from danger,then buzz in quickly drop some 2-3 combinations and then move away again,repeating this till wlad is hurt and there for taking out.

He didnt push and press valuev,cuz valuev for one is much bigger and heavier,and 2 valuev is much stronger and has an iron inhuman chin with a rock hard skull.

Haye will be busier,land easier,hurt wlad several times and stop him mid fight.

Not disrespectful, he believes he is better than all of those guys and better than Wlad, i think he is right.

Alot of people like yourself for some reason cant see this or dont see it, or think its crazy to have that opinion but they will see different after the fight. :smoke

Haye maybe believes he is better than Sam Peter, Eddie Chambers and so on.
But "believing" does not mean, that it is practicable.

Haye will be Wlad´s 50th KO victim.

Wlad lost fights, but in this fights he himself make mistakes. Since he is with Emanuel Steward, Wlad does not make mistakes so he is very very hard to beat.

David Haye has not the qualitiy do beat Wlad.

This quote here sums up why Wlad maybe in trouble in July.Despite the obvious physical attributes Haye holds over almost every single Wlad opponent, it is his spot on analysis and comments that Haye makes inbetreen the brash bravado talk that stands out to me.

Yeah he rubs up many people the wrong way, but when it comes down to general boxing talk, it is his understanding of the game (a lot like Hopkins and Ward) that feels me with more confidence in Haye.

i cant see his boxing skill and his resume sucks..wlads last ten opponents wud walk thru any of hayes.his defence sucks his foot movement is terrible for some1 who is suposidly fast i cud go on and on..his lack of fights against gd fighters is the reason ppl have doubts which is something u cant see...and im seeing ur another typical haye fan..of course its disrespectful saying men going to do there job went there to lie down and didnt plan train and try to beat a man..and another thing just because haye says hes better than them dont mean he is.****ing prove it fight them.......if wlad is indeed a champion because he fights bums at least they r the best bums in the division.haye cant say that he fights the bums of the bum heavyweight division y the **** cant u see that...its ppl like u y i really hope haye gets a pounding..then maybe beat in the ring aswell:rofl:rofl:rofl

Haye understands Wlad's mindset and mentality. Wlad himself has admitted even in a recent interview in London that he's not like his brother. He's not a natural fighter or tough guy. He likes to control the match, control all the variables and then finish you off when everything is already predicated in his complete control/favor. Wlad thinks boxing is predictable, that boxing isn't Russian roulette, and to a large extent he is correct. Freddie Roach said that there's no such thing as luck in boxing (I'm paraphrasing). Haye needs to unload the entire chamber on Wlad, he can't rely on a bullet being left in the chamber and getting lucky... he needs to attack.

The reason this is good news is many Haye critics and fans were worried that Haye would fight the way he did versus Valuev. He does seem to understand that fights are all about tactics, he explains this in the Sky Sport interview of which the quote I posted derives from. Haye admits anyone can knock either man out if that's what is allowed of them. My concern as a Haye fan is that he doesn't seem to be comfortable himself in leading, which is something you have to do against Wlad or he will pick you apart. Haye seems to understand that... so he's going to have to take risks early. In which case, that gives himself a chance of getting knocked out by taking chances. He understands this, but he also knows the mindset/mentality of Wlad and the necessary strategy to do the job. Hopefully, he doesn't shy away too much knowing that threat exists.

My opinions on the fight hasn't changed whatsoever, but it's good to here that Haye's intent is to try and make this fight a "brawl." Obviously from our and Haye's perspective it's a lot easier to see these weaknesses from the outside and then try to exploit them when you're in the ring facing a super heavyweight with an ATG jab and legitimate power. The question is, though, can he implement this plan? Can he win an ugly brawl that sets Wlad completely out of his gameplan from the gecko? What do people think of this quote from Haye?

I honestly wouldn't take Haye's pre-fight comments/plans seriously. He talks that much ****, that you can no longer tell whether he's being serious or not.

I don't expect him to make this fight a brawl. It's going to extremely cagey with both guys worrying about each other's power. I suspect Haye will employ abush tactics in an attempt to steal rounds. He definitely isn't going to braver than he's been in other fights.

This is the good news, and probably the most important thing you can hear of from Haye to know that not only is he taking the fight seriously but has the mentality and tactics understood perfectly. It's the start, and combined with that self-belief and the fact that he can punch he will always think he has a chance even if he ends up losing the fight their because he knows he has the game-changing power.

Whether he can pull it off is another matter. The odds are definately in favour of a Klitschko win by KO/TKO but I give Haye a better chance than most people; at 35-40% of pulling it off. He's not stupid, he knows what he's got to do and he got the speed and power to give Klitschko hell early in the fight.

I'm not sure if his chances are better than what most people think. I give him actually less chance than most I think. Knowing what you have to do and then doing it are two separate things really. But he definitely has a chance. I still think what I've heard is only good things. However, doesn't mean what he says he will do is what he will do once he finds out how hard it is to get inside that punishing jab of Wlad's. That could change the entire fight. But he understands Wlad's physique and mentality very well, and that's just as important as any schemed strategy in and of itself.

Haye does have to unsettle Wlad, maybe to a degree where Wlad is unsure to throw his jab in fear of a counter right from Haye. I've noticed in recent Wlad fights from the second round on he's been using a sneaky, fast straight fight as well. If Haye can get him out of his comfort zone to a point where he's tentative then he'll have his shot. If he can't then he'll have to hope for an out of nowhere punch to land.
On a side not I rewatched Haye - Valuev yesterday and was struck by how breathless Haye was - for a good time - following the final bell, really panting. Just reaffirms for me that Haye'll have to strike relatively early or his chances are going to fall to near zero.

I meant the proverbial "brawl" which I put in quotes as just a way of describing how Haye needs to unsettle him early. And you really can't be safe and calculated to do that. Haye has to take chances. Obviously without getting too wild or crazy but you get the idea.

Haye definitely has suspect stamina. He looked nervous against Valuev, and that can hinder your stamina. I'm not sure if he breathes correctly, and he lets his arms hang on the side of the ropes making it harder for oxygen to pump through your body. Little things like that, which are quite amateurish don't help. Wlad stamina isn't great either, but it's probably a little better. But then again, he gets hit very little and controls the fight in his comfort zone. I'd love to see how his stamina looks when he's out of that comfort zone early... EVEN if Haye doesn't put him away but bothers his mind. I agree, though. The earlier the better, the longer it goes the more his chances drops.

Well look at Wlad's last fight against the Peter rematch. Peter came in aggressive and with head movement. He still got hit very often and eventually it was Peter holding a lot, not Wlad. He wouldn't even engage with Valuev who has ZERO of the skills and ability that Wlad has and some of you act like Haye is going to come out like Mike Tyson or something? Haye is going to try and pot shot and survive the 12 rounds and consider that a moral victory.
